General Tax Authority Launches “Dhareeba” Application

Doha: As part of the efforts and strategies of the General Tax Authority (GTA) for digital transformation, improving the quality of its services and introducing advanced digital services that link the Authority with taxpayers around the clock, the GTA officially launched the Dhareeba application.

HE President of the GTA Ahmed bin Eisa Al Mohannadi emphasized that the launch of the Dhareeba application represents a significant milestone and a translation of the directives of the wise leadership of the country and the support for digital transformation in the State of Qatar is instrumental in fostering a digital society where individuals actively contribute to the construction of a knowledge-based economy.

The new application enhances the GTA’s efforts to drive the tax system forward by seamlessly integrating cutting-edge digital services that streamline tax operations with enhanced speed, precision, and transparency. The Dhareeba application allows users to directly track their requests, effortlessly access communication channels, and promptly engage with the relevant GTA departments for inquiries and assistance, HE President of the GTA added.

The new application aims to facilitate public access to information available through the Dhareeba Tax Portal, making a wide range of services readily available to users of iOS and Android devices. With a sophisticated interface and a user-centric design at its core, the application prioritizes speed, ease of use, and procedural clarity to provide users with swift and straightforward access to its comprehensive suite of services. Noteworthy features include a simplified tax return submission service for eligible companies, a payment service, a refund request service for damaged or lost excise goods, and an intermediate excise goods refund service.

The application further extends its functionality to include a service that allows taxpayers to notify the GTA of their intention to export, re-export or receive excisable goods. Additionally, it facilitates requests for installments, reimbursement of unlawfully collected amounts, exemption from financial penalties, and the issuance of tax residence certificates.

The inauguration featured an engaging presentation that provided attendees with an in-depth exploration of the Dhareeba application, its functions, and key services. The application constitutes an extension of the Dhareeba Tax Portal (dhareeba.gov.qa), which connects the General Tax Authority to its partners from the relevant government agencies, as well as taxpayers.

الدوحة: أطلقت الهيئة العامة للضرائب تطبيق /ضريبة/ في إطار جهودها واستراتيجياتها للتحول الرقمي، والارتقاء بمستوى الخدمات وجودتها، وطرح خدمات رقمية متطورة تشكل رابطا بينها والمكلفين على مدار الساعة.

وبهذا الخصوص، أكد سعادة السيد أحمد بن عيسى المهندي رئيس الهيئة العامة للضرائب، أن إطلاق تطبيق “ضريبة” يشكل خطوة مهمة وترجمة لتوجيهات القيادة الرشيدة، وحرصها على دعم مسيرة التحول الرقمي في الدولة، وتأسيس مجتمع رقمي يشارك أفراده في بناء اقتصاد قائم على المعرفة، معتبرا أن التطبيق الجديد سيعزز جهود الهيئة العامة للضرائب الرامية إلى تطوير منظومة العمل الضريبي من خلال خدمات رقمية متطورة تسهم في إدارة العمليات الضريبية بشكل إلكتروني يتسم بالسرعة والدقة والشفافية، وتمكن المستخدمين من متابعة طلباتهم بشكل مباشر، وإيجاد قنوات عبر النظام للتواصل والاستفسار مع الإدارات المعنية بالهيئة.

ويستهدف التطبيق الجديد تيسير وصول جمهور المكلفين إلى المعلومات المتاحة عبر بوابة “ضريبة”، وإتاحة العديد من خدماتها بكل يسر وسهولة لمستخدمي الأجهزة الذكية بنظام (آي أو إس) أو (أندرويد)، كما يتميز بواجهة متطورة، وتصميم يراعي السرعة وسهولة الاستخدام ووضوح إجراءات الاستفادة من الخدمات الشاملة التي يقدمها وأهمها خدمة تقديم الإقرار الضريبي المبسط للشركات التي تنطبق عليها الشروط، وخدمة السداد، وخدمة طلب استرداد السلع الانتقائية التالفة أو المفقودة، وخدمة طلب استرداد البضائع الانتقائية الوسيطة والتي تمكن المكلف من إدارة هذا النوع من الطلبات.

كما يتيح التطبيق خدمة الإخطار بتصدير أو إعادة تصدير أو استلام سلع انتقائية، وخدمة طلب التقسيط، وخدمة طلب استرداد المبالغ المحصلة دون وجه حق، وخدمة طلب الإعفاءات من الجزاءات المالية، بالإضافة إلى إمكانية تقديم طلب شهادة إقامة ضريبية.

وتخلل الإطلاق عرض تفاعلي لاطلاع الحضور عن قرب على التطبيق وخصائصه واستعراض أهم خدماته، حيث يمثل تطبيق “ضريبة” امتدادا لبوابة “ضريبة” الإلكترونية (dhareeba.gov.qa) والتي تربط بين الهيئة العامة للضرائب وشركائها من الجهات الحكومية ذات العلاقة وبين المكلفين.
