Samsung to Launch AI-Powered Galaxy Book 4 on December 15

Seoul: South Korean electronics company Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy Book 4 laptop on December 15.
The company stated in a report that Samsung plans to use the neural processing unit on the new Intel chips, along with its own large language model (LLM) – Samsung Gauss – to perform a range of artificial intelligence-related tasks.
The Galaxy Book 4 will use Intel Core Ultra processors series which will experience a significant performance boost due to the reliance on a design structure with small multiple Chiplet slices. Both the central processing unit and graphics processing unit, along with the System on a Chip (SoC) and IOE, will be based on different manufacturing precision.
There is a computing template that includes the central processing unit module, graphics processing unit module, SoC template with media engine, memory control unit, artificial intelligence cores, and an input/output template with Thunderbolt, PCIe, and other chip components.
The company indicated that the Galaxy Book 4 laptop will utilize Intel’s high-end Intel Meteor Lake CPUs. It clarified that while Samsung’s launch of the new laptop is set for December 15th, the actual availability date of the new laptop in the market has not been specified yet. It may be available for purchase at the end of this December or in early January next year.

وأضافت :” سلسلة المعالجات المركزية/ Core Ultra/ ، ستشهد قفزة جيدة من ناحية الأداء بسبب الاعتماد على بنية تصميم شرائح صغيرة متعددة /Chiplet/، وكل من وحدة المعالجة المركزية ووحدة المعالجة الرسومية مع قالب/ SoC و IOE /ستعتمد على دقة تصنيع مختلفة.
وتابعت :” هناك قالب الحوسبة الذي يحتوي على وحدة المعالجة المركزية، وقالب وحدة المعالجة الرسومية، وقالب SoC مع محرك الوسائط، ووحدة التحكم في الذاكرة، ونوى الذكاء الاصطناعي، وقالب الإدخال والإخراج مع Thunderbolt، وPCIe، وأشياء أخرى من مكونات الرقاقة.
وأشارت الشركة إلى أن الحاسوب المحمول / جالكسي بوك 4/ سيستخدم معالجات إنتل/ Meteor Lake Core Ultra /ذات الفئة العليا ، موضحة أنه ومع أن إطلاق سامسونج الحاسوب المحمول الجديد سيأتي في اليوم 15 من ديسمبر، فإن تاريخ التوفر الفعلي للحاسوب المحمول الجديد في الأسواق لم يحدد بعد، حيث قد يتوفر للبيع في نهاية شهر ديسمبر الجاري أو في أوائل شهر يناير المقبل.
