Beauties of Czechia Exhibition by Photographer Libor Svacek Opens in Katara

Doha: The “Beauties of Czechia” exhibition by photographer Libor Svacek opened its doors on Sunday at the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) in Building No. 47 (Hall 1).
The exhibition is being held in cooperation between the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Doha.
The opening was attended by HE Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Qatar Petr Chalupecky, Deputy Director-General of Operations and Director of the Human Resources Department at the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) Saif Saad Al Dosari, as well as a group of ambassadors and diplomats accredited to the State and media professionals.
The “Beauties of Czechia” exhibition includes about 37 photographs taken by Svacek that showcase the Czech Republic’s natural beauty, cultural landmarks and architectural gems, some of which are included on the lists of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
Chalupecky stated to Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the theme of the exhibition is the beauty of Czechia, but the main purpose of the exhibition is to present not only the city of Prague and other historical cities but also other interesting places all over the country.
People in Czechia are known for their hospitality and people from Qatar are welcome to visit, Chalupecky added. Noting that his country is just as safe as Qatar.
He pointed out that the Czech Republic has more than 25 natural reserves and more than 17 heritage sites registered with UNESCO, all of which are worth exploring.
Chalupecky praised the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) and all the partners who brought this event to life, which is the first project of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Doha.
Director of the International Affairs Department at the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) and the CEO of the Katara Center for Public Diplomacy Maryam Al Saad stated to QNA that the “Beauties of Czechia” exhibition is the culmination of cooperation between the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) and Embassy of the Czech Republic in Doha with the aim of showcasing the masterpieces of this European country and learn more about it. As well as it is being part of Katara’s goal of having a diverse international scene and becoming a meeting point for different cultures and civilizations.
Photographer Svacek was born in 1967 in Cesky Krumlov, one of the most beautiful historical cities in the Czech Republic. His talent emerged from a young age with his desire to take pictures that highlight the beauty of nature, architecture and fleeting moments of life. At an early age, Svacek practiced photography, spending long hours developing black and white photos in his darkroom.
Svacek published more than 23 photobooks focused on the Czech Republic. His work reflects his dedication to his passion and producing content of the highest quality, as well as his artistic expression and interest in modern technology.

الدوحة: افتتح بالمؤسسة العامة للحي الثقافي كتارا في المبنى رقم 47 (القاعة 1)، معرض روائع تشيكيا للفنان التشيكي ليبور سفاتشك.
حضر افتتاح المعرض، الذي يقام بالتعاون بين كتارا وسفارة جمهورية التشيك لدى الدوحة، كل من سعادة السيد بيتر خالوبيتسكي سفير جمهورية التشيك لدى الدوحة، والسيد سيف سعد الدوسري نائب مدير عام كتارا ومدير الموارد البشرية، ولفيف من السفراء والدبلوماسيين المعتمدين لدى الدولة والإعلاميين.
يستعرض روائع تشيكيا، عبر حوالي 37 صورة فوتوغرافية بعدسة الفوتوغرافي ليبور سفاتشك، جمال الطبيعة والمعالم الثقافية والجواهر المعمارية بجمهورية التشيك والمدرج بعض منها ضمن قوائم منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة اليونسكو.
وقال سعادة السيد بيتر خالوبيتسكي سفير جمهورية التشيك لدى الدوحة في تصريح لوكالة الأنباء القطرية قنا، “إن موضوع هذا المعرض هو جمال تشيكيا. لكن الغرض الرئيسي هو أن نقدم لأصدقائنا القطريين جمهورية التشيك، ليس مدينة براغ والمدن التاريخية الأخرى فحسب، بل أكثر من ذلك، من خلال أماكن مثيرة للاهتمام في جميع أنحاء البلاد في الشرق والجنوب الغربي وفي العاصمة بالطبع”.
وأضاف: “يمكن لأي شخص اختيار وجهة ترضيه ويمكنه القدوم والزيارة، حيث إن التشيكيين معروفون بالضيافة ويرحبون بزيارة القطريين إلى البلاد، منوها في الوقت نفسه، بأن بلده آمن تماما مثل قطر”.
وأشار إلى أن في التشيك أكثر من 25 محمية طبيعية، وبها أكثر من 17 موقعا تراثيا مسجلا لدى اليونسكو تستحق جميعها الاستكشاف.
وأشاد سعادة السيد بيتر خالوبيتسكي بالمؤسسة العامة للحي الثقافي كتارا وكل الشركاء الذين جعلوا هذا الحدث الثقافي الفني أمرا واقعا، لافتا إلى أن هذه الفعالية هي المشروع الأول لسفارة جمهورية التشيك في الدوحة.
من جهتها، قالت السيدة مريم آل سعد، مدير إدارة الشؤون الدولية والرئيس التنفيذي لمركز كتارا للدبلوماسية العامة في تصريح مماثل لـ قنا، إن هذا المعرض هو تتويج للتعاون بين الحي الثقافي وجمهورية التشيك لدى الدوحة من أجل عرض روائع هذا البلد الأوروبي والتعرف عليه عن كثب، فضلا على أنه يأتي ضمن انفتاح كتارا على الثقافات والحضارات المختلفة، باعتبار أن المؤسسة العامة للحي الثقافي ملتقى الثقافات والحضارات.
جدير بالذكر، أن الفوتوغرافي سفاتشك المولود عام 1967 في تشيسكي كروملوف، أحد أجمل المدن التاريخية في جمهورية التشيك، نمت موهبته منذ الصغر من خلال رغبته في التقاط صور تبرز جمال الطبيعة، والآثار المعمارية، ولحظات الحياة العابرة. بدأ ممارسة التصوير في سن مبكرة، حيث قضى أوقاتا طويلة في معالجة الصور بالأبيض والأسود في غرفة التصوير الخاصة به.
وتعكس أعماله تفانيه في عمله واهتمامه بالتكنولوجيا الحديثة والتعبير الفني، وسعيه جاهدا لإنتاج محتوى فوتوغرافي بأعلى جودة.
نشر سفاتشك أكثر من 23 كتيبا فوتوغرافيا عن جمهورية التشيك، كما يولي اهتماما خاصا بالتصوير الجوي.
