Washington: The WhatsApp instant messaging application is developing the feature of searching for messages within the application by adding the option to search using date.
The new change was detected in the latest beta version of the application, which is still under development and is expected to be launched soon for all users.
The feature ‘search messages by date’ allows users to narrow the search for a specific message in conversations according to a specific date.
It is worth noting that searching for messages by date is already available in the stable version of the WhatsApp application for iPhone, and it was recently made available to users of the beta version of WhatsApp Web.
The feature of sorting messages using date will be available when searching in individual and group conversations. This feature will be added to other features for sorting search results to facilitate access to the messages that are being searched.
