Doha, 30 October 2023: The 8th edition of Hospitality Qatar, the country’s leading International Trade Exhibition and Conference for HOREC, F&B, and tourism, will kick off at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) on Monday, 6 November, with the participation of more than 150 exhibitors from suppliers and service providers in the hospitality, hotels, restaurants, cafes, and food and beverage sectors from more than 17 different countries.
Over the years, Hospitality Qatar has expanded and diversified its activities to meet the growing demand in the sector, both locally and internationally, to include a conference, training program, specialized competitions, as well as a B2B matchmaking program connecting leading companies in the market to potential buyers and investors.
In terms of participation, 70 local companies and 80 international companies will be taking part in this year’s edition, with the participation of 5 official national pavilions, including the Kuwaiti National Pavilion supported by the Public Authority for Industry, the Turkish Pavilion supported by the Ministry of Commerce, and the Iranian Pavilion supported by the Trade Promotion Organization. Moreover, 20 embassies will also be participating to promote their touristic destinations and programs.
According to the organizers, IFP Qatar, this year’s program will include a number of trainings and workshops, a barista competition held in cooperation with the internationally renowned coffee brand, Corona, the Restaurant’s Choice Awards by talabat, as well as the highly anticipated Salon Culinaire competition and live cooking shows.
The free training workshops accredited by Excelledia will cover some of the most important topics in the industry, including excellence in customer service, food safety and hygiene, management, and others. Through this free training program, Hospitality Qatar aims at providing professionals and practitioners in the industry with the knowledge, skills and training necessary to raise the level of quality across hospitality and tourism facilities in Qatar.
The Barista Competition by Corona will gather some of Doha’s most talented baristas in an exciting display of skills in the presence of international experts flying in to Qatar specifically for the occasion.
In turn, talabat is participating in this year’s edition of Hospitality Qatar of as the ‘Food Technology Partner’. In addition to the commercial, professional and knowledge aspects that will be covered through these various events, culinary enthusiasts will be able to enjoy various live cooking competitions and demonstrations over the three days, with more than 150 chefs representing Doha’s leading hotels competing in 20 different categories in the Salon Culinaire competition. Some of Qatar’s brightest chefs will showcase innovative recipes that will satisfy all tastes directly to the event’s visitors.
In summary, an exhibition, conference, training workshops, awards ceremony, various competitions, and live performances covering the hospitality, tourism and food sectors are the ingredients of Hospitality Qatar 2023, making it a must-visit event.

الدوحة، 30 أكتوبر 2023: تنطلق في مركز الدوحة للمعارض والمؤتمرات الإثنين المقبل في السادس من نوفمبر فعاليات الدورة الثامنة من معرض “قطر للضيافة”، المعرض والمؤتمر التجاري الدولي الأبرز في قطاع الضيافة والسياحة في قطر، بمشاركة أكثر من 150 شركة عارضة من الموردين ومزودي الخدمات في قطاعات الضيافة والفنادق والمطاعم والمقاهي والأغذية والمشروبات، من أكثر من 17 دولة مختلفة.
ووسّع معرض “قطر للضيافة” على مر السنين من حضوره ونشاطاته لتلبية الطلب المتنامي للقطاع على المستويين المحلي والدولي. وستشمل أيام المعرض عقد مؤتمرات وبرامج تدريبية ومسابقات متخصصة، بالإضافة إلى برنامج للتوفيق بين الأعمال على مستوى الشركات لأبرز اللاعبين في المجال من أجل تسويق منتجاتهم وخدماتهم للمشترين والمستثمرين المحتملين وأصحاب الأعمال.
فعلى صعيد المشاركات، تشارك في المعرض 70 شركة محلية، و 80 شركة دولية، تتمثّل 5 منها بأجنحة وطنية رسمية، أبرزها الجناح الوطني الكويتي بدعم من الهيئة العامة للصناعة في الكويت، والجناح التركي بدعم من وزارة التجارة، والجناح الإيراني بدعم من من منظمة تنمية التجارة. كما وتشارك عشرون سفارة من السفارات العاملة في الدوحة بأقسام الترويج السياحي للتعريف بالوجهات والبرامج السياحية لدولها.
أمّا على صعيد الفعاليات، فيشمل برنامج فعاليات المعرض هذه السنة حفل تكريم أفضل المطاعم في قطر بالشراكة مع منصّة طلبات، ومسابقة إعداد القهوة (الباريستا) التي تقام بالتعاون مع شركة كورونا العالمية، فضلاً عن عدد من الورش التدريبية في مجالات مختلفة، وعروض الطبخ الحية بمشاركة مجموعة من ألمع الطهاة في قطر، وغيرها من الفعاليات.
وتشمل ورش التدريب المهني المعتمد من قبل مؤسسة Excelledia العالمية مواضيع التميّز في خدمة العملاء، وسلامة الأغذية والنظافة، والإدارة، وغيرها من أفضل الممارسات المتبعة في القطاع. ويسعى المعرض من خلال برنامج التدريب المجاني هذا إلى تزويد المهنيين والعاملين في القطاع بالمعارف والمهارات والتدريب الضروري لرفع مستوى الجودة في مختلف منشآت الضيافة والسياحة في قطر.
كما وستتقوم شركة كورونا العالمية بدورها بتنظيم تدريب مجاني على فنون إعداد القهوة للعاملين في المقاهي في الدوحة، ومسابقة دولية في المجال نفسه بمشاركة خبراء دوليين جرى استقدامهم من خارج قطر خصيصاً للمناسبة.
بدورها، تشارك منصة طلبات في دورة هذا العام من قطر للضيافة بصفة “شريك تكنولوجيا الغذاء”. وتعليقاً على هذه الشراكة والهدف منها، قال فرنسِسكو ميجيل سُوسا، المدير العام لمِنصَّة «طلبات قطر»: «نحن سُعداء بالشراكة مع مجموعة «آي إف بي» في معرض قطر للضيافة القادم بصِفتنا «شريكًا لتكنولوجيا الغذاء». سوف تقوم «طلبات» خلال هذا الحدث بتنظيم حفل جوائز «المطعم المُفضّل»، والتي سيتم اختيارها بناءً على تفضيلات العملاء، سعيًا منا لمساعدة قطاع الضيافة في قطر على النمو والازدهار».
وإضافة إلى الجوانب التجارية والمهنية والمعرفية التي سيغطيها الحدث من خلال هذه الفعاليات المتنوعة، سيتاح لعشاق فنون الطهي الاستمتاع بمسابقات وعروض حية للطهي على مدار الأيام الثلاثة، حيث يتبارى أكثر من 150 طاهياً يمثّلون أبرز الفنادق في الدوحة ضمن 20 فئة مختلفة في مسابقة “صالون كولينير”. فيما ستقوم مجموعة من ألمع الطهاة في قطر بإستعراض وصفات مبتكرة ترضي جميع الأذواق مباشرة لجمهور المعرض.
