Microsoft Introduces New Updates to Windows Ink

Washington: Microsoft is introducing exciting changes to Windows Ink that will revolutionize the way you write on your Surface or Windows tablet. The latest Windows Ink update allows you to write anywhere you can type in Windows 11, opening up new possibilities for creativity and productivity.

Microsoft has now made the handwriting-to-text conversion feature available inside search boxes and various other elements of Windows 11. This means that you can now seamlessly convert your handwritten notes into text without having to switch input methods.

The company said in a statement that this new feature appears if you have a Surface device equipped with a pen or any other tablet running Windows that supports Windows Ink. It appears when you start typing in the search box, or in other text editing fields in Windows 11. Currently, Microsoft has enabled this feature for US English, with support for additional languages on the horizon.

Moreover, the KB5031455 non-security update includes various bug fixes for Windows 11. This update also brings improvements to handwriting recognition technology, making it even more accurate and intuitive The update also fixes a number of Windows 11 bugs, including a memory leak in ctfmon.exe, and improves the Dynamic Lighting feature.

The new Windows Ink update is compatible with Surface devices with a pen, as well as other Windows tablets that support the Windows Ink feature.

واشنطن: أعلنت شركة مايكروسوفت ، عن طرح تحديثات جديدة على/ Windows Ink / تتيح لك الكتابة في أي مكان يتلقى مدخلات في ويندوز 11.

وقالت الشركة في بيان لها :” تظهر هذه الميزة الجديدة إذا كان لديك جهاز/ Surface / مزود بقلم أو أي جهاز لوحي آخر يعمل بنظام ويندوز ويدعم Windows Ink، إذ تظهر عند بدء الكتابة ضمن مربع البحث، أو في حقول تحرير النص الأخرى في ويندوز 11 ، ويتوفر هذا الخيار في الوقت الحالي باللغة الإنجليزية فقط، مع توفير الدعم قريبا للغات الإضافية “.

وطرحت مايكروسوفت التحديث غير المتعلق بالأمان/ KB5031455 / بصفته معاينة لمستخدمي ويندوز 11، كما حسنت مايكروسوفت أيضا تقنية التعرف على خط اليد إذ أصبحت دقيقة بشكل أكبر في هذا التحديث.

ويتضمن هذا التحديث أيضا عددا من إصلاحات الأخطاء في نظام التشغيل ويندوز 11، مع إصلاح تسرب الذاكرة في ملف/ ctfmon.exe/ وتحسينات لميزة الإضاءة الديناميكية الجديدة.

ويتوافق تحديث Windows Ink الجديد مع أجهزة Surface المزودة بقلم، بالإضافة إلى أجهزة ويندوز اللوحية الأخرى الداعمة لميزة Windows Ink.
