Apple Releases Beta Update That Includes Journal App

Washington: Apple has released the developer beta of iOS 17.2, with many new features, most notably the personal diary application “Journal”.

According to the company, the Journal application is a new application that will be available to iPhone users that have been upgraded to iOS 17, and its goal is to help users write personal notes.

It said that the new Journal application uses artificial intelligence techniques to encourage users to write their thoughts, as well as remind them at specific times to adopt the habit of writing a diary.

Apple explained that the application provides various options to maintain the privacy of the content within it, such as the ability to lock the application as well as completely encrypting the content.

With the new update, Apple will also add a collaborative playlists feature to the Music application, allowing users to invite friends to participate in creating and modifying playlists by adding, deleting, and rearranging, with the ability to interact with audio clips that are playing in the list using emojis.

Apple also added an automatic playlist called “Favorites” based on the clips that the user has designated as favorites.

Another feature in the iOS 17.2 update is the call key verification feature in the iMessage application, which is a security feature that gives users more certainty about their correspondence with the people they mean.

This is the first beta version of the awaited update, Apple is expected to release more beta versions before its final launch before the end of this year, as it considered the second major update to iOS 17.

واشنطن: أطلقت شركة /آبل/ تحديث iOS 17.2 التجريبي للمطورين بالعديد من المزايا الجديدة أبرزها تطبيق المذكرات الشخصية /جورنال Journal/.

ووفقا للشركة، فإن تطبيق /جورنال/ هو تطبيق جديد سيكون متاحا لمستخدمي هواتف آيفون التي جرى ترقيتها إلى نظام iOS 17، وهدفه مساعدة المستخدمين على تدوين المذكرات الشخصية.

وقالت :” يتمير تطبيق جورنال الجديد بأنه يستخدم تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي لتشجيع المستخدمين على كتابة خواطرهم، وكذلك تذكيرهم في أوقات محددة لكي يتبنوا عادة تدوين اليوميات”.

وأوضحت /آبل/ أن التطبيق يوفر خيارات مختلفة للحفاظ على خصوصية المحتوى داخله، مثل إمكانية قفل التطبيق وكذلك تشفيرالمحتوى تشفيرا تاما”.

وستضيف /آبل / أيضا مع التحديث الجديد، ميزة قوائم التشغيل التعاونية في تطبيق الموسيقى، حيث تتيح للمستخدمين دعوة الأصدقاء للمشاركة في إنشاء وتعديل قوائم التشغيل بالإضافة والحذف وإعادة الترتيب، مع إمكانية التفاعل مع المقاطع الصوتية التي هي قيد التشغيل في القائمة باستخدام الوجوه التعبيرية.

كما أضافت/ آبل/ قائمة تشغيل تلقائية باسم /المفضلة/ استنادا إلى المقاطع التي حددها المستخدم كمفضلة.

ومن المزايا الأخرى في تحديث iOS 17.2، ميزة تحقق مفتاح الاتصال في تطبيق الرسائل iMessage، وهي ميزة أمنية تمنح المستخدمين مزيدا من اليقين بشأن مراسلتهم مع الأشخاص الذين يقصدونهم.

وتعد هذه النسخة التجريبية الأولى من التحديث المنتظر، ومن المتوقع أن تطلق/ آبل/ مزيدا من النسخ التجريبية قبل الإطلاق النهائي له قبل نهاية العام الجاري، حيث يعد التحديث الفرعي الثاني الكبير لنظام iOS 17.
