Microsoft Announces New AI Tools to Help Doctors

Washington: Microsoft announced new data and artificial intelligence products that aim to help health-care organizations easily access and learn from the mountains of information collected by doctors and hospitals.
Microsoft also developed new health-care-specific tools in Fabric. It can combine data from sources such as electronic health records, images, lab systems, medical devices and claims systems so organizations can standardize it and access it in the same place.
Microsoft stated that the new tools will help eliminate the “time-consuming” process of searching through these sources one by one.
It also introduced new tools for health-care organizations within its Azure AI services.
The company will offer a new generative AI chatbot called the Azure AI Health Bot, which can pull information from a health organizations own internal data as well as reputable external sources such as the Food and Drug Administration and the National Institutes of Health.
Microsoft announced another solution called Text Analytics for health, which can label and extract important medical information from a variety of unstructured data sources such as clinical documents and notes.

وطورت مايكروسوفت أدوات جديدة للرعاية الصحية في منصة البيانات والتحليلات Fabric لإدماج البيانات من مصادر، مثل السجلات الصحية الإلكترونية والصور وأنظمة المختبرات والأجهزة الطبية، وذلك حتى تتمكن المؤسسات من توحيدها والوصول إليها في المكان نفسه.
وأشارت مايكروسوفت إلى أن الأدوات الجديدة تساعد في التخلص من عملية البحث اليدوي في هذه المصادر التي تستهلك الوقت.
ويساعد إدماج البيانات المتباينة الأنظمة الصحية في تحسين الرعاية ورؤية المزيد من المرضى.
كما أعلنت مايكروسوفت حلا جديدا للصحة يسمى Text Analytics، الذي يمكنه تصنيف المعلومات الطبية المهمة واستخراجها من مجموعة متنوعة من مصادر البيانات غير المنظمة، مثل المستندات والملاحظات السريرية.
وكشفت عن ثلاثة نماذج ضمن Azure AI Health Insights توفر أدوات لمساعدة الأطباء والممرضات والباحثين على اتخاذ قرارات مستنيرة.
وتساعد أدوات الرعاية الصحية الجديدة من مايكروسوفت ضمن Azure AI في تحسين تجارب المرضى وتسمح للأطباء بالتركيز على تقديم الرعاية الفضلى.
