Labour Ministry Receives 5,361 Recruitment Applications in September

Doha: The Ministry of Labour received 5,361 new recruitment applications in September, out of which 4,060 were approved and 1,301 were rejected.

Also, there were 3,179 submissions to modify professions; 3,083 were accepted, and 96 faced rejections.

This came in the Ministry of Labour’s statistical report for September 2023, which sheds light on significant data and figures pertaining to the country’s labour sector. It also presented outcomes from its inspection visits to entities governed by the Labour Law.

According to the bulletin issued by the Ministry of Labour today, the number of applications for the renewal of a work permit in the year amounted to 11,717 applications, 11,156 applications were approved and 561 applications were rejected, while the number of applications for special work permits reached 1,146 applications, including 772 applications for renewal of a permit, 100 applications for a new issuance and 274 cancellation of permits.

In terms of inspection visits to labour recruitment offices, the statistical bulletin showed that the ministry carried out about 155 inspection tours of recruitment offices, 153 of which ended without recording notes, and warning to remove a violation for one office and record one report case.

During the month of September, the Labour Inspection Department carried out intensive inspection campaigns to monitor the extent of establishments’ compliance with the laws and ministerial decisions concerned with regulating the labour market in the country, with a total number of inspection visits of 5,462 in various regions, resulting in sending a warning to 890 companies to remove the violation, while the number of reports of controlling violations against companies reached 600 minutes.

With regard to labour complaints, the statistical bulletin showed that the Department of Labour Disputes received complaints from the establishment’s workers against the establishment with about 2,538 complaints, of which 577 complaints were settled, 232 of which were referred to the committees for the settlement of labour disputes, and 1,729 complaints remained under the procedure. The Labour Disputes Department also received 103 reports from the public and all were resolved.

According to the monthly statistical bulletin regarding the Labour dispute settlement committees, the number of cases referred to the dispute settlement committees during the past month amounted to about 232 cases, and the total number of decisions issued by the Labour dispute settlement committees reached about 269 decisions, and the total decisions that are still under procedure amounted to about 685 decisions.

Regarding employment contracts, the statistical bulletin showed that the Labour Relations Department received about 67,438 applications for the authentication of employment contracts, 67,249 applications were approved, 189 applications were rejected, while the number of requests for secondment of labour amounted to 4,168 applications, 2,053 applications were approved and 2,115 applications were rejected.

الدوحة: أظهرت النشرة الإحصائية الشهرية لشهر سبتمبر الماضي التي أصدرتها وزارة العمل ، استقبال الوزارة نحو 5361 طلبا لاستقدام جديد، تمت الموافقة على 4060 طلبا، ورفض 1301 منها .

كما بلغ العدد الإجمالي لطلبات تعديل المهنة بحسب النشرة الصادرة اليوم ، 3179 طلبا ، تمت الموافقة على 3083 طلبا، ورفض 96 طلبا.

ووفقا للنشرة فقد بلغ عدد طلبات تجديد ترخيص عمل عام 11717 طلبا تمت الموافقة على 11156 طلبا ورفض 561 منها ، فيما بلغ عدد طلبات تصاريح العمل الخاصة 1146 طلبا، منها 772 طلبا لتجديد تصريح و100 طلب لإصدار جديد و274 إلغاء تصاريح.

وعلى صعيد الزيارات التفتيشية على مكاتب استقدام العمالة، أظهرت النشرة الإحصائية أن وزارة العمل قد نفذت نحو 155 جولة تفتيشية على مكاتب الاستقدام، انتهت 153 منها دون تسجيل ملاحظات، مع تنبيه بإزالة مخالفة لمكتب واحد وتسجيل محضر واحد.

وقامت إدارة تفتيش العمل خلال شهر سبتمبر الماضي، بحملات تفتيشية مكثفة لمراقبة مدى التزام المنشآت بالقوانين والقرارات الوزارية المعنية بتنظيم سوق العمل بالدولة، وذلك بإجمالي 5462 زيارة تفتيشية بمختلف المناطق، أسفر عنها توجيه تنبيه لـ 890 شركة بإزالة المخالفة، فيما بلغ عدد محاضر ضبط المخالفات ضد الشركات 600 محضر.

وبشأن الشكاوى العمالية، أظهرت النشرة الإحصائية استقبال إدارة المنازعات العمالية شكاوى من عمالة المنشأة ضد المنشأة بنحو 2538 شكوى، تم تسوية 577 شكوى ، وإحالة 232 منها للجان فض المنازعات العمالية، ليبقى تحت الإجراء 1729 شكوى . كما تلقت الإدارة 103 بلاغات من الجمهور، تمت تسويتها جميعها.

وفيما يتعلق بلجان فض المنازعات العمالية، بلغ عدد القضايا المحالة لهذه اللجان خلال الشهر الماضي نحو 232 قضية، وإجمالي عدد القرارات الصادرة منها نحو 269 قرارا، كما بلغ إجمالي القرارات التي لا تزال تحت الإجراء، نحو 685 قرارا.

وأظهرت النشرة الإحصائية بشأن عقود العمل، استقبال إدارة علاقات العمل نحو 67438 طلبا لتصديق عقود العمل ، تمت الموافقة على 67249 طلبا، ورفض 189 طلبا، فيما بلغ عدد طلبات إعارة للعمالة 4168 طلبا تمت الموافقة على 2053 منها ورفض 2115 طلبا.
