Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani witnessed on Sunday evening the conclusion of the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2023, held on the Lusail International Circuit.
At the outset of the visit, HH the Amir toured the race management areas assigned for the participating teams, during which His Highness was briefed on the latest preparations and equipment of Formula 1 cars before the main race.
HH the Amir also witnessed the main race, in which Red Bull driver Max Verstappen won the title.
The race was attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, a number of Their Excellencies Sheikhs and Ministers, HE President and CEO of Formula 1 Stefano Domenicali, HE President of the International Automobile Federation Mohammed ben Sulayem, guests of the tournament, and a large audience.

الدوحة: شهد حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، مساء الأمس، ختام جائزة الخطوط الجوية القطرية الكبرى للفورمولا-1 قطر 2023، في حلبة لوسيل الدولية.
وفي بداية الزيارة، قام سموه بجولة في مناطق إدارة السباق المخصصة للفرق المشاركة، اطلع خلالها على آخر استعدادات وتجهيزات سيارات الفورمولا-1 قبل خوض السباق الرئيسي.
كما شهد سمو الأمير المفدى السباق الرئيسي الذي توج بلقبه الهولندي ماكس فيرستابن سائق فريق “ريد بل”.
تابع السباق معالي الشيخ محمد بن عبدالرحمن بن جاسم آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية، وعدد من أصحاب السعادة الشيوخ والوزراء، وسعادة السيد ستيفانو دومينيكالي الرئيس والمدير التنفيذي لبطولة العالم لسباقات الفورمولا-1، وسعادة السيد محمد بن سليم رئيس الاتحاد الدولي للسيارات، وضيوف البطولة وجمهور غفير.
