Qatar Grand Prix 2023 Trophy Unveiled

Doha: Lusail International Circuit (LIC) has collaborated with Pininfarina, a renowned Italian design and architectural firm known for its iconic work in the automobile industry, to create the official trophy for the Qatar Grand Prix. The trophy for the 2023 Formula 1 Qatar Airways Grand Prix is a fusion of speed, culture, and craftsmanship.

Pininfarina drew inspiration from the dynamism of Formula 1, creating a trophy that captures the essence of the recently redesigned Lusail International Circuit (LIC).

The trophy’s development and production took place over a three-month collaborative effort between Pininfarina and LIC.

The project involved skilled artisans who expertly crafted wave-like patterns, paying tribute to Qatar’s sand dunes. The trophy also features a deep-purple resin plaque with a geometric design inspired by the traditional Sadu carpet, adding depth and vibrancy.

The satin aluminum finish adds elegance to the trophy, reflecting Pininfarina’s signature style.

These elements come together to celebrate Qatari culture and highlight Lusail’s identity as a motorsports hub.

Pininfarina, through Pininfarina Segno, its atelier dedicated to bespoke design creations, utilized cutting-edge technologies like laser printing to incorporate unique Qatari elements while maintaining a contemporary design.

The trophy weighs approximately 3.6 kilograms and stands 55 centimeters tall.

While the new trophy retains some elements from the one featured in the 2021 Qatar Grand Prix, it offers a distinct and innovative perspective on Qatar’s evolving motorsports culture.

الدوحة: قامت حلبة لوسيل الدولية قامت بالتعاون مع بينيفارينا، وهي شركة تصميم وهندسة معمارية إيطالية مشهورة بأعمالها الأيقونية في صناعة السيارات، لإنشاء الجائزة الرسمية لجائزة قطر الكبرى. سباق جائزة الخطوط الجوية القطرية الكبرى للفورمولا 1® 2023 هي مزيج من السرعة والثقافة والحرفية.

استلهمت بينيفارينا من ديناميات فورمولا 1، وأبدعت جائزة تلتقط جوهر حلبة لوسيل الدولية الجديدة بالكامل.

تم تنفيذ عملية تطوير وإنتاج الجائزة من خلال جهد تعاوني استغرق ثلاثة أشهر بين بينيفارينا وحلبة لوسيل الدولية.

استعان المشروع بحرفيين ذوي خبرة يقومون بصناعة أنماط مشابهة للأمواج تكريمًا للكثبان الرملية في قطر، بالإضافة إلى لوحة من الراتنج البنفسجي الغامق تحمل تصميمًا هندسيًا مستوحى من سجادة السدو التقليدية، مما يضيف عمقًا ولمسة حية.

اللمسة النهائية من الألمنيوم الساتان تضفي أناقة على الجائزة، معبرة عن الأسلوب الخاص لـ بينيفارينا.

تجمع هذه العناصر معًا للاحتفال بالثقافة القطرية وتسليط الضوء على هوية حلبة لوسيل كمركز لرياضة السيارات.

استخدمت بينيفارينا، من خلال بينيفارينا سيجنو، ورشة العمل المخصصة لإبداعات التصميم الفريدة، تقنيات حديثة مثل الطباعة بالليزر لتعكس عناصر فريدة تناسب قطر وفي نفس الوقت الحفاظ على تصميم معاصر.

تزن الجائزة حوالي 3.6 كيلوجرام وارتفاعها 55 سم.

بينما تحتفظ الجائزة الجديدة ببعض العناصر من الجائزة التي ظهرت في جائزة قطر 2021، إلا أنها تقدم وجهة نظر مميزة ومبتكرة حول ثقافة سباقات السيارات المتنامية في قطر.
