Old Doha Port Signs Cooperation Agreements with Global Companies During 2023 Monaco Yacht Show

Monaco: The Old Doha Port has successfully signed multiple agreements with professional global companies specialized in yacht during its participation in the global 2023 Monaco Yacht Show which wrapped up its activities on Saturday.
Executive Director of the Old Doha Port, Mohammed Abdullah Al Mulla, pointed out that the port’s pavilion located at the section designated for international ports in the show strikingly witnessed a large turnout as an opportunity to keep visitors informed of the port’s facilities and designs that reflect the Qatari cultural and architectural identity as an attractive component to the mammoth yacht during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 events.
The key objective of the participation in the global 2023 Monaco Yacht Show was to include the Old Doha Port in the global map, Al Mulla outlined, adding that many cooperation and understanding agreements were successfully signed with professional and global companies in Yacht and such orientation supports the port’s strategy in attracting international Yacht, he said.
He underscored that the Doha Port’s participation in several global events such as Dubai International Boat Show held early this year, will be followed by a series of participations in many global shows in the upcoming period, indicating that Qatar is working to execute the previously prepared marketing plan.
The Old Doha Port showcased a model to streamline visiting yachts through a mechanism of entry and exit from Qatar which evidently received standing ovation from owners, when 60 mammoth Yachts visited the port in December 2022 during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Moreover, since the inauguration of the Old Doha Port, its administration set a new mechanism for the entry of yachts to Qatar through streamlining the procedures of communication with the relevant government entities.

موناكو: نجح ميناء الدوحة القديم في إبرام عدة اتفاقيات تعاون مع شركات عالمية مختصة في مجال اليخوت خلال مشاركته للعام الثاني على التوالي في معرض موناكو العالمي لليخوت 2023 الذي اختتمت فعالياته يوم أمس.
ولفت السيد محمد عبدالله الملا المدير التنفيذي لميناء الدوحة القديم إلى الإقبال الكبير الذي شهده جناح الميناء المتواجد بالقسم المخصص للموانئ العالمية في معرض موناكو لليخوت ليكون فرصة للتعريف بمرافقه وتصميماته التي تعكس الهوية المعمارية الثقافية القطرية التي كانت عنصرا جاذبا لليخوت العملاقة خلال فعاليات كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022.
وقال المدير التنفيذي لميناء الدوحة القديم إن الهدف الرئيسي من هذه المشاركة هو وضع ميناء الدوحة القديم ضمن الخارطة العالمية، حيث تم بكل نجاح إبرام عدة اتفاقيات تعاون وتفاهم مع شركات عالمية مختصة بمجال اليخوت تعد الأولى عالميا في مجالها، مضيفا “هذا التوجه يدعم استراتيجية الميناء في استقطاب اليخوت العالمية، فمن خلال عدد من المشاركات العالمية كان أولها بداية العام الجاري بمعرض دبي لليخوت العالمية، وستليه سلسلة من المشاركات في عدة معارض عالمية في الفترة القادمة نعمل على تنفيذ الخطط التسويقية التي تم إعدادها سلفا”.
تجدر الإشارة إلى أن ميناء الدوحة القديم قدم نموذجا لتسهيل وصول اليخوت الزائرة من خلال آلية دخول وخروج اليخوت من الدولة والذي لاقى استحسان جميع أصحاب اليخوت، وذلك خلال زيارة نحو 60 يختا ضخما للميناء تراوحت أطوالهم بين 50 مترا إلى 130 مترا في شهر ديسمبر من العام الماضي أثناء بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022. ومنذ افتتاح الميناء عملت إدارته على وضع آلية جديدة لدخول اليخوت للدولة من خلال تسهيل إجراءات التواصل مع الجهات الحكومية ذات الصلة.
