Doha: As the summer holiday season comes to an end and preparations for the return to school begin, Hamad International Airport continues to offer a smooth and comfortable arrival experience for citizens and residents through several measures.
The airport advises returning travelers to utilize the electronic gates in the arrivals hall. Travelers are reminded that large or irregularly shaped baggage will arrive on separate designated baggage belts.
It is also recommended to securely package fragile belongings in sturdy bags and verify the name mentioned on the baggage tag to confirm ownership before retrieving the luggage.
Hamad International Airport provides travelers with a diverse range of ground transportation options that seamlessly connect the airport with the city. Both the public transport bus station and the taxi station are located on either side of the arrivals area.
Travelers are encouraged to use authorized taxis from the designated taxi area. These licensed vehicles adhere to high standards of quality and performance, along with a strict policy that includes procedures for lost or found items.
The metro station is also within a short walking distance from inside the airport building. Trains run every 3 minutes, connecting the airport to major vital areas in the city.
The short-term parking area can be used to easily transport travelers from the terminal. Car rental and limousine services are located near the arrivals hall. For travelers who have used the valet parking service, their vehicles will be ready for pick-up next to the departure hall curb upon their arrival.

يوفر مطار حمد الدولي للمسافرين مجموعة متنوعة من خيارات النقل البري الّتي تربط بين المطار والمدينة بسلاسة. تقع محطة الحافلات للنقل العام ومحطة التاكسي على جانبي منطقة الوصول.
يشجع المطار المسافرين على استخدام سيارات التاكسي المعتمدة من منطقة التاكسي المخصصة. تلتزم هذه المركبات المرخصة بمعايير عالية من الجودة والأداء، إلى جانب سياسة صارمة تشمل إجراءات التعامل مع العناصر المفقودة أو المعثور عليها.
كما تقع محطة المترو على مسافة قصيرة سيرًا على الأقدام من داخل مبنى المطار. تسير القطارات كل 3 دقائق، مربطة المطار بالمناطق الرئيسية في المدينة.
يمكن استخدام منطقة وقوف السيارات القصير المدى لنقل المسافرين بسهولة من المبنى. تقع خدمات تأجير السيارات والليموزين بالقرب من صالة الوصول. بالنسبة للمسافرين الذين استخدموا خدمة وقوف السيارات “الفاليه”، ستكون مركباتهم جاهزة للاستلام بجانب رصيف صالة المغادرة عند وصولهم.
