Al Markhiya Gallery Unveils Captivating Visual Artwork Masterpieces of Qatari, Syrian Artists

Doha: Al markhiya Gallery opened on Tuesday an artwork exhibition named Tanasuj “Woven” at its premises at the Cultural Village Foundation Katara which showcases an array of miniature art and mini paintings of the Qatari artists, namely Faraj Daham and Ibtisam Al Saffar, alongside Syrian artists, including Nazim Al Jaafari, Nazir Ismail, Saad Yakan, Muhammad Al Wahibi and others.
The exhibition offers a range of visual arts derived from the contemporary art with a variety of artistic techniques showcasing the immense imagination of those participating artists and constituting an exceptional opportunity for viewing a set of captivating masterpieces and unique mini paintings that reflect the aesthetical identity of the two regions.
In his exclusive remarks to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Faraj Daham said the exhibition is an art of networking and communication with Syrian artists, pointing out that the participation in this collective exhibition comes based on knowledge framework, lauding the initiative of Al markhiya Gallery that aims to solidify the status of the Arab culture.
He confirmed that his participation in this exhibition is not meant to merely register his name, but an opportunity to add values of knowledge and art and present his enduring experience that lasted for two decades away from stereotypical work, pointing out that the challenge is to utilize your own capability to reduce what exists in the least possible effort.
Daham revealed that his artwork accomplishment did not take more than two days, concluding his statements by saying that he does exist if artwork does in people’s hearts.
In similar statements to QNA, the artist Ibtisam Al Saffar said she participates with 30-30 size of paintings under the theme of communication, adding that such participation is the onset of collective exhibitions in collaboration with Arab galleries, along with Al markhiya.
Stemming from this exhibition, Al markhiya Gallery eyes expansion of its contemporary and participatory exhibitions to be held in collaboration with many friendly galleries across the Arab world.

يضم المعرض عددا من اللوحات الفنية ذات الحجم الصغير للفنانين القطريين فرج دهام وابتسام الصفار، إضافة إلى فنانين سوريين من بينهم ناظم الجعفري، نذير إسماعيل، سعد يكن، محمد الوهيبي وآخرين.
يقدم المعرض محاورة فنية بصرية تمتح من الفن المعاصر بأساليب فنية مختلفة، تبين مدى غنى الخيال الخصب الذي يتمتع به الفنانون المشاركون بأعمالهم.. كما يشكل فرصة استثنائية للاطلاع على مجموعة فريدة من الأعمال الفنية الصغيرة التي تعكس الهوية الجمالية لكلا المنطقتين.
وقال الفنان فرج دهام في تصريح خاص لوكالة الأنباء القطرية /قنا/، إن المعرض عبارة عن تواصل مع الفنانين السوريين، منوها بأن المشاركة في هذا المعرض الجماعي تأتي في إطار معرفي، مثنيا في الوقت نفسه على مبادرة جاليري المرخية الذي يصبو إلى تمتين حضور الثقافة العربية.
وأكد دهام أن مشاركته في /تناسج/ ليس من أجل تسجيل الحضور فحسب، بل هي فرصة لإضفاء قيمة فنية ومعرفية، وتقديم تجربة متواصلة تربو عن عشرين عاما بعيدا عن النمطية، لافتا إلى أن التحدي هو مدى استغلال القدرة من أجل اختزال ما هو موجود في أقل جهد ممكن، كاشفا في الوقت نفسه، أن إنجاز أعماله الفنية لم يتجاوز يومين، مختتما حديثه بالقول: “أنا موجود طالما العمل موجود في ذائقة الناس”.
من جهتها، أوضحت الفنانة ابتسام الصفار في تصريح مماثل لـ/قنا/، أنها تشارك بتسع لوحات فنية مقاس /30*30/، بعنوان /تواصل/ تنتمي للمدرسة التعبيرية التجريدية التي ما تزال وفية لها، مشيرة إلى أن هذه المشاركة هي بداية لمعارض جماعية بالتعاون مع جاليريهات عربية بالإضافة إلى جاليري المرخية.
ويتطلع جاليري المرخية انطلاقا من هذا المعرض، إلى توسيع معارضه التشاركية المعاصرة، في قابل الأعوام، والتي يطمح إلى إقامتها بالتعاون مع العديد من صالات العرض الصديقة على امتداد العالم العربي.
جدير بالذكر، أن جاليري المرخية يعد رافدا للمشهد الفني والثقافي في قطر ويأتي تأسيسه استجابة من القطاع الخاص في دعم الفن والإبداع، كما يشكل الجاليري مبادرة رائدة في مجال الربط بين فنون التشكيل وجمهوره.
واستطاع عبر تجارب متصلة أن يعرض لعدد مميز من تشكيليي الوطن العربي ويقدم تجاربهم للجمهور في قطر.
