Doha: The Ministry of Transportation, through its official account on (X) website, has announced that Qatar’s Traffic Control Guide provides safe paths and routes for students by implementing a specific system of signage in school areas to enhance traffic safety.
Qatar’s Traffic Control Guide signs alert drivers to the presence of pedestrian crossings, the requirement to adhere to reduced speeds in school zones, and the need to slow down due to speed bumps.
The speed limit in front of schools is 30 km/h.
