MEEZA Shares to Be Listed on Qatar Stock Exchange Starting August 23

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) announced, on Wednesday, that the shares of MEEZA QSTP LLC (Public) will be admitted to trading on the QSE’s main market starting from August 23 of this year.

This follows the approvals obtained from the Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) and the QSE’s board, as well as the completion of all necessary technical, regulatory, and administrative procedures. With the listing of MEEZA, the total number of companies listed on the QSE main market will increase to 51.

In a statement, QSE said that all 648,890,000 shares of MEEZA will be listed, representing 100 percent of the total capital of the company. It should be noted that 324,490,000 million shares were offered for subscription, representing 50 percent of the total capital of the company, and distributed as follows: 121,393,000 shares for qualified investors who participated in the book-building process, representing 18.71 percent of the company’s capital, and 203,097,000 shares for Qatari individual and corporate investors, representing 31.29 percent of the company’s capital. The founders will retain the remaining percentage of the shares, which amounts to 324,490,000 shares, representing 50 percent of the total capital of the company.

The offering of MEEZA shares was conducted through the ‘Book Building’ mechanism, which was used for the first time in Qatar. This mechanism used in many global and regional markets to determine the share offering price by relying on qualified investors who have sufficient experience and knowledge and the necessary mechanisms for fair pricing of the security.

Acting CEO of the QSE Abdulaziz Nasser Al Emadi expressed his pleasure at the listing of MEEZA on the QSE Main Market (QEMM) through the ‘Book Building’ mechanism, which is being employed for the first time on the QSE. This approach aligns with practices adopted in various global and regional markets.

The shares of MEEZA will be listed with the symbol “MEZA” in QSE main market under the consumer goods & services sector. The offering price has been set at QR 2.17, consisting of a nominal value of QR 1.00 and an issuance premium of QR 1.16, along with a listing fee of QR 0.01 per share, based on the documents submitted by the company. On the first day of listing, the company’s price will be floated, and starting from the second day, it will be allowed to fluctuate by 10 percent up or down, similar to other listed companies in the market.

There will be no change in the trading session timing on the first day of listing, and the pre-open phase will commence at the usual time of 9:00 am.
Starting from August 20, the shareholder data of the company will be made available to brokerage firms. Shareholders and investors can then directly submit their buy or sell orders to their respective brokers from that date onwards.

الدوحة: أعلنت بورصة قطر إدراج أسهم شركة /ميزة كيو إس تي بي – ذ.م.م/، عامة، في السوق الرئيسية لبورصة قطر اعتبارا من الأربعاء المقبل، الموافق 23 أغسطس الجاري، وذلك بعد استكمال جميع الإجراءات الفنية والتنظيمية والإدارية والحصول على موافقة هيئة قطر للأسواق المالية على الإدراج، وموافقة مجلس إدارة البورصة على قبول تداول أسهم الشركة، ليرتفع بذلك عدد الشركات المدرجة في السوق الرئيسية للبورصة إلى 51 شركة.

وأوضحت بورصة قطر، في بيان اليوم، أن جميع أسهم شركة /ميزة/، البالغة 648 مليونا و980 ألف سهم، وتمثل 100 بالمئة من إجمالي رأسمالها، ستدرج في التداولات، علما بأنه تم طرح 324 مليونا و490 ألف سهم للاكتتاب، تمثل 50 بالمئة من إجمالي رأسمال الشركة، وموزعة بواقع 121 مليونا و393 ألف سهم للمستثمرين المؤهلين الذين شاركوا في عملية البناء السعري، بما يمثل 18.71 بالمئة من رأسمالها، و203 ملايين و97 ألف سهم للمستثمرين القطريين من الأفراد والشركات، بما يمثل 31.29 بالمئة من رأسمال /ميزة/، وسيحتفظ المؤسسون بالنسبة المتبقية من الأسهم البالغـة 324 مليونا و490 ألفا، والتي تمثل 50 بالمئة من إجمالي رأس المال.

يذكر أن طرح أسهم شركة /ميزة/ كان من خلال آلية البناء السعري، وهي آلية مستخدمة في الأسواق العالمية والعديد من الأسواق في المنطقة لتحديد سعر الطرح للأسهم من خلال الاعتماد على المستثمرين المؤهلين الذين يملكون الخبرة والمعرفة الكافية والآليات اللازمة للتسعير العادل للورقة المالية.

ورحب السيد عبدالعزيز ناصر العمادي الرئيس التنفيذي بالوكالة لبورصة قطر بإدراج أسهم /ميزة/ للتداول في السوق من خلال آلية البناء السعري التي تستخدم لأول مرة في البورصة، مواكبة في ذلك الإجراء المتبع في العديد من الأسواق العالمية وأسواق المنطقة.

وستدرج أسهم /ميزة/ برمز “MEZA” في السوق الرئيسية لبورصة قطر في قطاع الخدمات والسلع الاستهلاكية، وتم تحديد سعر الطرح بقيمة 2.17 ريال، يتكون من قيمة اسمية قدرها 1 ريال وعــلاوة إصــدار بقيمــة 1.16 ريال ورســوم الطــرح والإدراج بقيمــة 0.01 ريال لكل سهم بناء على المستندات التي تقدمت بها الشركة، وسيكون سعر سهم الشركة معوما في يوم الإدراج الأول، بينما سيسمح اعتبارا من اليوم الثاني بتذبذب السعر بنسبة 10 بالمئة صعودا وهبوطا، شأنها في ذلك شأن الشركات الأخرى المدرجة في السوق.

يشار إلى أنه لن يكون هنالك أي تغيير في موعد جلسة التداول ليوم الإدراج، وسيبقى توقيت ما قبل الافتتاح (Pre-Open) كما هو متبع عادة عند الساعة 9:00 صباحا.

وستكون بيانات المساهمين في الشركة متاحة لدى شركات الوساطة اعتبارا من يوم الأحد 20 أغسطس 2023 استعدادا لتداول أسهمها، بحيث يستطيع المساهمون والمستثمرون اعتبارا من ذلك التاريخ مراجعة شركات الوساطة مباشرة لتسليم أوامر البيع أو الشراء.
