QSE Index Maintains Cohesion, Anticipation for Morgan Stanley’s Reviews

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index concluded this week’s trading down by 0.59 percent, losing 63.35 points to stand at 10,735 under the pressure of various sectors, as the communication sector fell by 2.05 percent and the real estate sector by 1.940 percent, despite that, the index maintained its cohesion at the indicated support point.

In this context, financial market analyst Youssef Bouhlaika stressed that QSE is witnessing profit-taking operations that explain the weekly decline in the index, especially since the last period witnessed increases that enabled it to dispel the losses it recorded since the beginning of this year, pointing to the index’s consistency at point 10,735.

In remarks to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the financial market analyst said that the QSE index continued its cohesion during the current week, benefiting from the liquidity pumped by Gulf portfolios into the market that supported purchases, as the average trading value approached QR 352 million.

Bouhlaika expected that the QSE index would maintain the annual gains in the coming period and absorb the declines recorded in the profits of some leading companies such as Industries Qatar, saying that the market is expected to achieve a major recovery with the progress in disclosing the results of the remaining companies and announcing the reviews of Morgan Stanley next week.

The financial market analyst stressed that all factors are available to enhance confidence in the shares of listed companies, which provides opportunities to diversify investment portfolios.

الدوحة: أنهى مؤشر بورصة قطر تعاملات الأسبوع الجاري على تراجع بـ0.59 بالمئة ليخسر رصيده 63.35 نقطة ويصل إلى مستوى 10735 نقطة قياسا بالأسبوع الماضي، بضغط من مختلف القطاعات، حيث هبط قطاع الاتصالات بـ2.05 بالمئة والقطاع العقاري بـ1.940بالمئة، ورغم ذلك حافظ على تماسكه عند نقطة الدعم المشار إليها.

وفي هذا السياق أكد يوسف بوحليقة محلل أسواق مالية أن بورصة قطر حاليا تشهد عمليات جني أرباح تفسر التراجع الأسبوعي الذي شهده المؤشر، خاصة وأن الفترة الماضية شهدت ارتفاعات مكنته من تبديد الخسائر التي سجلها منذ بداية العام الجاري، لافتا إلى تماسك المؤشر عند النقطة 10735.

وقال محلل الأسواق المالية في تصريحات لوكالة الأنباء القطرية /قنا/ إن مؤشر بورصة قطر واصل تماسكه خلال الأسبوع الحالي مستفيدا من السيولة التي ضختها المحافظ الخليجية في السوق التي دعمت الشراءات، حيث اقترب متوسط قيم التداول من 352 مليون ريال.

وتوقع بوحليقة أن يحافظ مؤشر بورصة قطر على المكاسب السنوية في الفترة القادمة وأن يستوعب التراجعات التي سجلتها أرباح بعض الشركات القيادية على غرار صناعات قطر، قائلا: “من المنتظر أن تحقق السوق انتعاشة كبرى مع التقدم في الكشف عن نتائج الشركات المتبقية والإعلان عن مراجعات مورغان ستانلي في الأسبوع القادم”.

وشدد محلل الأسواق المالية التأكيد على أن كل العوامل متوفرة لتعزيز الثقة في أسهم الشركات المدرجة، مما يتيح الفرص لتنويع المحافظ الاستثمارية.
