Japan Welcomes Qatari Travelers with Visa Exemption from August 21

Doha: An official source from the Consular Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that Japanese authorities will activate the visa exemption system (JAVES) for Qatari citizens in Qatar, effective from August 21.
The system will allow citizens to electronically apply to the Japanese Embassy in Doha to register their passports, then complete the visa exemption (JAVES) registration online.
Upon their arrival at Japanese airports, Qatari citizens will be required to present the visa exemption registration notification on their mobile devices.

الدوحة: صرح مصدر مسؤول بإدارة الشؤون القنصلية بوزارة الخارجية، بأن السلطات اليابانية ستقوم بتفعيل نظام إعفاء المواطنين القطريين من التأشيرة اليابانية (JAVES) في قطر، اعتبارا من 21 أغسطس الحالي.
وسيمكن النظام المواطنين من التقديم إلكترونيا إلى سفارة اليابان في الدوحة لتسجيل جوازات السفر الخاصة بهم، ثم إكمال تسجيل الإعفاء من التأشيرة (JAVES) عبر الإنترنت.
وسيطلب من المواطنين القطريين عند وصولهم للمطار في اليابان عرض إشعار تسجيل الإعفاء من التأشيرة على أجهزتهم المحمولة.
