QCB Exempts Customers form Additional Costs on Consumer Finance

Doha: Qatar Central Bank (QCB) announced that – upon the state’s directives, it has been decided to exempt customers from paying any additional costs on consumer financing, on loans granted against customers’ salaries, and on loans granted to some vital sectors in the country.
QCB stated that the exemption decision comes in light of the global increase in interest rates, and the consequent increase in the interest rate according to the requirements of monetary policy.

الدوحة: أعلن مصرف قطر المركزي أنه بناء على توجيهات الدولة، تقرر إعفاء العملاء من دفع أي تكاليف إضافية على التمويل الاستهلاكي، وعلى القروض الممنوحة مقابل رواتب العملاء، وعلى القروض الممنوحة لبعض القطاعات الحيوية في الدولة.
وأوضح المصرف أن قرار الإعفاء يأتي في ضوء الارتفاع المتزايد في أسعار الفائدة عالميا، وما ترتب على ذلك من رفعه لسعر الفائدة حسب متطلبات السياسة النقدية.
