Google Launches Unknown Trackers Alerts Feature for Android Users
جوجل تطلق ميزة التحذير من أجهزة التتبع المجهولة في أندرويد

Washington: The American Internet and technology services company, Google, announced Friday the launch of the unknown tracker alerts on Android devices.
The official website of Google stated that the new feature makes Android devices able to monitor tracking devices that do not belong to the user, and move with him while he is on the move. It also send him a notification stating that there is a tracking device monitoring him.
The company explained that when taping the notification, the user will view the map that displays when and where the tracking device started walking with him, with the ability to tap the “Play sound” and the tracker will make a noise to help you locate it without the owner of the tracker knowing.
The company said that the new feature can currently monitor unknown Apple tracking devices AirTags only, and it is currently working to support tracking devices from other companies, such as Samsung, Tile, and others.
It is worth noting that Google and Apple began cooperating with each other earlier this year, in order to develop new specifications for the industry that would limit the misuse of tracking devices.

واشنطن: أعلنت شركة خدمات الإنترنت والتكنولوجيا الأمريكية /جوجل/ اليوم، إطلاق ميزة التحذير من أجهزة التتبع غير المعروفة في أجهزة /أندرويد/.
وذكر الموقع الرسمي لـ/جوجل/، أن الميزة الجديدة تجعل أجهزة أندرويد قادرة على رصد أجهزة التتبع التي لا تخص المستخدم، وتتحرك معه أثناء تنقله، كما تقوم بإرسال إشعار له يفيد بأن هناك جهاز تتبع يراقبه.
وأوضحت أنه عند الضغط على الإشعار، سوف ينتقل المستخدم إلى خريطة تعرض متى وأين بدأ جهاز التتبع بالسير معه، مع القدرة على تشغيل صوت المتتبع لتحديد مكانه دون أن يعرف مالكه، وكذلك إرشادات لكيفية تعطيل المتتبع.
وقالت الشركة :” إن الميزة الجديدة يمكنها حاليا رصد أجهزة التتبع المجهولة الخاصة بآبل/ AirTags/ فقط، وهي تعمل حاليا على دعم أجهزة تتبع من شركات أخرى مثل/ سامسونج و Tile / وغيرها “.
جدير بالذكر أن /جوجل وآبل / قد بدآ التعاون مع بعضهما البعض في وقت سابق من هذا العام ، وذلك لوضع مواصفات جديدة لصناعة من شأنها أن تحد من إساءة استخدام أجهزة التتبع.
