Dr. Inas Al-Kuwari, head of the laboratory department at Hamad Medical Corporation, revealed that 5,000 tests are carried out daily to detect the new coronavirus (Coved-19), which is twice as many tests as daily tests performed at the beginning of the epidemic.
Dr. Al-Kuwari stated to al-Raya saying that the number of daily tests will be increased to 10 thousand per day in the next few weeks, with a plan currently under work to increase the number of tests to more than this number in the coming period, and work is being done to increase the number of laboratories for testing for the coronavirus at Hamad Medical Corporation.

كشفت الدكتورة إيناس الكواري، رئيس قسم المختبرات بمؤسسة حمد الطبية، عن إجراء 5 آلاف فحص يومياً للكشف عن فيروس كورونا المستجد «كوفيد-19» وهي الفحوصات التي تعادل أضعاف تلك الفحوصات اليومية التي كان يتم إجراؤها في بداية انتشار الوباء.
وقالت د. الكواري، في تصريحات ل الراية ، إنه سيتم زيادة عدد الفحوصات اليومية إلى 10 آلاف فحص يومياً خلال الأسابيع القليلة المقبلة، مع وجود خطة يتم العمل عليها حالياً لزيادة عدد الفحوصات إلى أكثر من هذا العدد خلال الفترة المقبلة، كما يتم العمل على زيادة عدد المختبرات الخاصة بفحص فيروس كورونا بمؤسسة حمد الطبية.
