Qatari Small and Medium-sized Companies Sign Deals Worth QR 731 Million in First Half of This Year

Doha: The value of deals signed by Qatari small and medium-sized companies benefiting from the various services of the Qatar’s Export Development & Promotion Agency (Tasdeer) reached about QR 731 million during the first half of this year.

In a report released today, Tasdeer highlighted the momentum witnessed by the participation of small and medium-sized companies in many international exhibitions and trade missions, including Gulf and Arab markets as well as Turkiye and India.

Tasdeer noted the participation of 20 Qatari companies from various sectors and local industries in the trade mission to the Republic of Iraq, backed by the growth in the volume of Qatari exports to this country during the previous year.

The number of bilateral meetings with the Iraqi side held during this visit reached approximately 331 covering various sectors to which the participating Qatari companies belong, including construction, plastic, medical and pharmaceutical materials, paper products, dyes, adhesives, batteries, and other sectors of interest, while the value of the initial deals amounted to about QR209 million.

12 Qatari companies were able to showcase their products at the PlastIndia exhibition in India, one of the largest trade fairs capable of opening doors for Qatari products to reach new markets and explore broader horizons. The value of the deals amounted to more than QR71 million.

In terms of other exhibitions, Qatari exporters participated in the Kuwait Build & Design Week, one of the most important commercial and consumer exhibitions in the construction, interior design and construction sectors in Kuwait. 14 Qatari companies presented their products and services in this exhibition. Their sectors and fields varied between plastics, technology and architecture. construction services and others. This participation resulted in a number of commercial deals worth more than QR24 million.

Tasdeer noted successive Qatari participation in major exhibitions in the region, as 17 Qatari companies from the construction sector participated in The Big 5 Saudi exhibition, which was held last February at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center. More than 170 bilateral meetings were held and potential deals worth more than QR150 million were signed.

In April, 16 Qatari companies participated in the Turkiye Build Istanbul 2023 exhibition in Istanbul and signed deals worth more than QR37 million with the possibility of exporting their products and services to Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the GCC countries.

22 Qatari companies participated in The Big 5 Egypt exhibition, which was held in June in Cairo and resulted in more than 160 bilateral meetings and deals worth QR126 million along with export opportunities for Qatari companies in Egypt, Russia, Kuwait, Kenya, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and others.

Throughout the first half of the year, trade missions by exporters and owners of Qatari companies were active as 23 Qatari companies participated in the trade mission to India, seeking to open new cooperative areas for the future, given the increase in the volume of trade between the two countries by 60% since 2020, while the value of deals exceeded QR114 million.

Tasdeer is keen on continuing its activities and programs that seek to speed up the development of the private sector in line with the National Vision of the State of Qatar 2030 and to build a strong and diversified economy by developing the capabilities of Qatari exporters in the non-oil and non-hydrocarbon fields and increasing the competitiveness of the Qatari product in the global markets.

الدوحة: بلغت قيمة الصفقات التي أبرمتها الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة القطرية المستفيدة من الخدمات المتنوعة لوكالة قطر لتنمية وتمويل وترويج الصادرات /تصدير/ نحو 731 مليون ريال خلال النصف الأول من العام الحالي.

وأشارت /تصدير/ في تقرير صادر عنها اليوم، إلى الزخم الذي شهدته مشاركات الشركات الصغرى والمتوسطة في العديد من المعارض الدولية والبعثات التجارية، شملت أسواقا خليجية وعربية إلى جانب تركيا والهند.

ولفتت /تصدير/ في هذا السياق إلى مشاركة 20 شركة قطرية، من مختلف القطاعات والصناعات المحلية في البعثة التجارية إلى جمهورية العراق المدعومة بنمو حجم الصادرات القطرية نحو هذا البلد خلال العام السابق.

وقد وصل عدد الاجتماعات الثنائية المنعقدة خلال هذه الزيارة إلى ما يقارب 331 اجتماعا مع الجانب العراقي، في مختلف القطاعات التي تنتمي إليها الشركات القطرية المشاركة، وشملت المواد الإنشائية والبلاستيكية والطبية والدوائية، والمنتجات الورقية، والأصباغ، والمواد اللاصقة، والبطاريات، وغيرها من القطاعات ذات الاهتمام المشترك. في حين بلغت قيمة الصفقات الأولية نحو 209 ملايين ريال قطري.

كما تمكنت 12 شركة قطرية من إبراز منتجاتها في معرض /بلاست إنديا/ في الهند، والذي يعتبر واحدا من أكبر المعارض التجارية القادرة على فتح الأبواب أمام المنتجات القطرية للوصول إلى أسواق جديدة واستكشاف آفاق أوسع. وبلغت قيمة الصفقات ما يفوق 71 مليون ريال قطري.

وعلى صعيد المعارض الأخرى، شارك المصدرون القطريون في معرض /أسبوع الكويت للبناء والتصميم/ الذي يعد من أهم المعارض التجارية والاستهلاكية في قطاع البناء والتصاميم الداخلية والإنشاءات في الكويت، حيث عرضت 14 شركة قطرية منتجاتها وخدماتها في هذا المعرض، وتنوعت قطاعاتها ومجالاتها بين البلاستيك والتكنولوجيا والعمارة والخدمات الإنشائية وغيرها.

وقد أثمرت هذه المشاركة عددا من الصفقات التجارية بقيمة تجاوزت 24 مليون ريال قطري.

وبينت /تصدير/ توالي المشاركات القطرية في المعارض الكبرى في المنطقة، حيث اشتركت 17 شركة قطرية من قطاع الإنشاءات في معرض /الخمسة الكبار في السعودية The Big 5 Saudi /، والذي أقيم خلال شهر فبراير الماضي في مركز الرياض للمعارض والمؤتمرات، وأسفرت هذه المشاركة القطرية عن أكثر من 170 اجتماعا ثنائيا وصفقات محتملة بقيمة تفوق 150 مليون ريال قطري.

أما في شهر أبريل، فقد شاركت 16 شركة قطرية في معرض /تركيا بيلد Turkey Build Istanbul 2023/ في إسطنبول، وتمكنت من الوصول إلى صفقات بقيمة تجاوزت 37 مليون ريال قطري مع إمكانية تصدير منتجاتها وخدماتها إلى أوروبا وإفريقيا، والشرق الأوسط ودول مجلس التعاون الخليجي.

من جهة أخرى، شاركت 22 شركة قطرية في معرض /الخمسة الكبار في مصر The big 5 Egypt/، الذي أقيم في شهر يونيو في القاهرة، وأسفر عن أكثر من 160 اجتماعا ثنائيا وصفقات مبرمة بقيمة 126 مليون ريال قطري، وفرصا تصديرية للشركات القطرية في مصر وروسيا والكويت وكينيا والمغرب والسعودية وغيرها.

وعلى مدار النصف الأول من العام، نشطت البعثات التجارية للمصدرين وأصحاب الشركات القطرية، حيث شاركت 23 شركة قطرية في البعثة التجارية إلى الهند، سعيا إلى فتح مجالات تعاونية جديدة للمستقبل، باعتبار ارتفاع حجم التجارة بين البلدين بنسبة 60% منذ 2020، فيما تجاوزت قيمة الصفقات التجارية 114 مليون ريال قطري.

وتحرص وكالة /تصدير/على الاستمرار في نشاطاتها وبرامجها التي تسعى إلى تسريع تنمية القطاع الخاص، بما يتماشى مع الرؤية الوطنية لدولة قطر 2030، وبناء اقتصاد قوي ومتنوع من خلال تطوير قدرات المصدرين القطريين في المجالات غير النفطية وغير الهيدروكربونية وزيادة القدرات التنافسية للمنتج القطري في الأسواق العالمية.

وتقدم وكالة /تصدير/ الدعم اللازم عبر عدد من البرامج والخدمات لتنمية الصادرات مثل برنامج الذهاب للعالمية وشهادة المنتج الدولي، وأخرى خاصة بترويج الصادرات، مثل إقامة المعارض الدولية والاجتماعات الثنائية والبعثات التجارية، إضافة إلى برامج تمويل الصادرات مثل تقديم التمويل لتأمين مخاطر الصادرات وغيرها.
