Doha: Qatar SC and Umm Salal shared points after a feisty 2-2 draw in Week 6 of the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League at the Al Arabi Stadium on Saturday.
Sebastian Soria (43rd minute) opened the scoring and his strike was followed by a goal from Bashar Rasan (45th minute) for Qatar SC who were playing their first league match under new Moroccan coach Youssef Safri, himself their former player.
In a spectacular strike off a direct corner kick, Isael Barbosa (67th minute) managed the first strike followed by Ayman Abdennours (90th minute) goal as Umm Salal wrapped up their gallant fight.
In the sixth minute, Umm Salals Khaled Abdullah, assisted by Atef Mohammed, aimed for the goal, but mistimed his jump for the deflection from close range.
A minute later, Umm Salals Ali Ferydoon charged into the Qatar SC box, but his cross from close range was slapped away by keeper Jassim Al Hail.
Three minutes later, Soria slipped in a cross to Youcef Belaili who aimed for the goal, but his low shot was blocked by Abdennour.
Barbosa attempted a solo effort in the 14th minute, but his long-range shot sailed past the Qatar SC goalpost. Ferydoon also attempted a long-range shot in the 26th minute, but was quick to apologise to his team-mates after missing the target by a fair margin.
Qatar SCs Isaac Mbenza curled in a spectacular shot from outside the Umm Salal box but the shot was parried away by keeper Khalifa Aboobacker in the 42nd minute.
Seconds later, Soria jumped high on a Khaled Ahmed cross and headed the ball into the net leaving keeper Ndiaye stunned with his athleticism from close range.
Soon afterwards, Soria hit a goalpost with a neat low shot that beat keeper Ndiaye. However, the ball bounced off the goalpost and Rasan was in close range to flick the ball into the net with his left foot to give Qatar SC a 2-0 cushion just seconds before the end of first half.
In the 57th minute, Abdulrahman Mohammed of Qatar SC managed a header from an awkward position inside the Qatar SC box, but the deflection narrowly missed the far goalpost.
Ibrahim Saleh Al Kirby of Umm Salal also missed a similar drive from close range just a minute later.
Barbosa then probably scored the most spectacular goal of the season a curling corner kick that sailed right into the net.
Umm Salal scored the equalizer when Qatar SCs Mohamed Salim and Javier Martinez failed to clear a loopy ball inside their own box and Umm Salals Ghadban easily sent the ball into the net with defenders or keeper Al-hail out of sight.

الدوحة: حسمت نتيجة التعادل الايجابي بهدفين لمثلهما مباراة نادي قطر وأم صلال التي جمعتهما يوم أمس على استاد حمد الكبير بالنادي العربي ضمن الجولة السادسة للدوري القطري لكرة القدم (دوري نجوم QNB).
سجل هدفي نادي قطر سبستيان سوريا في الدقيقة 43، وبشار رسن في الدقيقة 45، فيما سجل هدفي أم صلال ايزيل باربوسا في الدقيقة 67، وأيمن حسين غضبان في الدقيقة 90.
وبهذه النتيجة، حصد كل فريق نقطة وحيدة رفعت رصيد أم صلال إلى خمس نقاط في المركز السابع، متقدما بفارق الأهداف عن نادي قطر صاحب المركز الثامن ولديه نفس الرصيد من النقاط.
وكانت الجولة الماضية شهدت فوز نادي قطر على الغرافة بثنائية نظيفة، وتعادل أم صلال مع الشمال بهدف لمثله.
وسيواجه نادي قطر في الجولة السابعة المقبلة فريق الوكرة، فيما يتبارى أم صلال مع السد.
جاءت مباراة نادي قطر وأم صلال جيدة المستوى، وشهدت فترات جس نبض من الجانبين، مع أفضلية لنادي قطر في الشوط الأول حيث قدم أداء قويا وضغط على أم صلال لكنه أهدر العديد من الفرص أمام مرمى منافسه وتمكن من تدارك ذلك وافتتاح النتيجة في الدقيقة 43 بعد هجمة مركزة قادها لاعبوه، ومن كرة عرضية من اللاعب خالد محمودي تلقاها سبستيان سوريا وأسكنها شباك أم صلال بتسديدة رأسية غالطت حارس المرمى خليفة أبوبكر، معلنا عن تقدم فريقه نادي قطر.
هذا الهدف فتح شهية نادي قطر وأمام تراجع أداء لاعبي أم صلال، أضاف بشار رسن الهدف الثاني لنادي قطر في الدقيقة 45، بعد تسديدة سبستيان سوريا التي اصطدمت بالقائم وعادت للملعب ليخطفها بشار رسن ويسددها بقوة في شباك أم صلال معلنا عن ثاني الاهداف لفريقه..لينتهي الشوط الأول بتقدم نادي قطر بثنائية نظيفة.
ومع انطلاق الشوط الثاني، سعى نادي قطر لمواصلة عروضه القوية واضافة المزيد من الأهداف لكن دون جدوى ..في المقابل حاول أم صلال العودة في المباراة وقاد العديد من المحاولات الهجومية وقدم مردودا مغايرا للشوط الأول وكاد يفتتح النتيجة في الدقيقة 56 بعد تسديدة رأسية من لاعبه عبد الرحمان أبكر مرت بجوار مرمى نادي قطر.
وواصل أم صلال ضغطه وتمكن في الدقيقة 67 من تسجيل الهدف الأول بواسطة لاعبه ايزيل باربوسا من تسديدية من الركنية سكنت مباشرة شباك نادي قطر.
وأهدر أم صلال فرصة تعديل النتيجة في عدة مناسبات أبرزها في الدقيقة 72 بعد تسديدة قوية من لاعبه ايليس براميل لمست جاسم الهيل حارس مرمى نادي قطر وتحولت إلى خارج أرضية الملعب.
وفي الدقيقة 90 تمكن أم صلال من تعديل النتيجة بواسطة لاعبه أيمن حسين غضبان، بعد مراوغته لاعبي دفاع نادي قطر وسدد كرته في شباك المنافس معلنا عن ثاني أهداف فريقه أم صلال.
ورغم إضافة حكم المباراة لأربع دقائق وقت بديل ومواصلة أم صلال بحثه عن تسجيل هدف الفوز من خلال هجماته المتكررة ..انتهى اللقاء بتعادل الفريقين بهدفين لمثلهما.
وأقيمت في وقت سابق اليوم مباراتان انتهت بفوز العربي على الشمال بنتيجة (3 -1)، وتغلب الوكرة على السيلية بهدف دون رد، وتختتم الجولة السادسة للدوري غدا بإقامة ثلاث مباريات تجمع السد مع الغرافة، والريان مع الدحيل، والأهلي مع الخور.
