Qatar and Kuwait decided to take new precautionary measures with the Egyptians returning to both countries, temporarily and due to the spread of the novel Coronavirus.
In light of the spread of the new Coronavirus epidemic and the public health measures necessary to prevent the spread of the epidemic, the State of Qatar imposed temporary restrictions on entry into its territory of all arrivals from Egypt through intermediate points.
The government communication office said in a statement today, that this measure is temporary due to the spread of the new Coronavirus.
The Qatar Civil Aviation Authority also banned the acceptance of all travelers coming from Egypt through intermediate points, including those with valid residency permits in the State of Qatar, with the exception of Qatari citizens only.
This came in a circular from the authority for airlines and travel offices, starting from Sunday early March 2020.
In Kuwait, the Ministry of Interior stopped, today, Sunday, the issuance of all types of visas for members of the Egyptian community, until further notice, as part of precautionary plans to confront the Corona virus.
Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas quoted ministry sources as saying that those who have residency within the country are Egyptians not covered by the decision, and they have the right to return to the country, noting that the decision includes stopping the issuance of all kinds of visits, whether they are family, tourism, commercial or government, as well as stopping Attributes of joining the family, in addition to stopping the entry visas “work visa”.
The sources pointed out that “the number of countries covered by the decision increased to 8 countries, namely Egypt, Iran, Iraq, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Thailand and Italy.”

قررت قطر والكويت اتخاذ إجراءات احترازية جديدة مع المصريين العائدين إلى البلدين، بشكل مؤقت وبسبب انتشار فيروس كورونا المتجدد .
وفي ضوء انتشار وباء كورونا المستجد وتدابير الصحة العامة اللازمة لمنع انتشار الوباء، فرضت دولة قطر قيودا مؤقتة على دخول أراضيها لجميع القادمين من مصر عبر نقاط وسيطة.
وقال مكتب الاتصال الحكومي في بيان له اليوم، إن هذا التدبير مؤقت بسبب انتشار فيروس كورونا المستجد.
كما حظرت هيئة الطيران المدني في قطر قبول جميع المسافرين القادمين من مصر عن طريق نقاط وسيطة بما في ذلك حاملي الإقامات السارية المفعول بدولة قطر، وذلك باستثناء المواطنين القطريين فقط .
جاء ذلك في تعميم من الهيئة لشركات الطيران ومكاتب السفر اعتباراً من اليوم الأحد مطلع مارس 2020 .
وفي الكويت ، أوقفت وزارة الداخلية، اليوم الأحد، إصدار جميع أنواع التأشيرات لأبناء الجالية المصرية، حتى إشعار آخر، وذلك ضمن الخطط الاحترازية لمواجهة فيروس كورونا.
ونقلت صحيفة “القبس” الكويتية عن مصادر بالوزارة “أن من لديهم إقامات داخل البلاد من المصريين غير مشمولين بالقرار، ومن حقهم العودة إلى البلاد”، مشيرةً إلى أن القرار يشمل وقف إصدار الزيارات بأنواعها سواء كانت عائلية أو سياحية أو تجارية أو حكومية، وكذلك وقف سمات الالتحاق بعائل، إضافة إلى وقف سمات الدخول “فيزا العمل”.
وأوضحت المصادر أن “عدد الدول المشمولة بالقرار ارتفع إلى 8 دول، وهي مصر وإيران والعراق والصين وهونغ كونغ وكوريا وتايلاند وإيطاليا”.
وتصر الحكومة المصرية على نفي رصد أي حالات مصابة أو مشتبه في إصابتها بفيروس كورونا المستجد بجميع محافظاتها، غير أن إعلان بعض الدول عن وصول حالات مصابة عبر أشخاص قادمين من مصر طرح عدة أسئلة عن الطريقة التي تعتمدها وزارة الصحة المصرية في تقييم الحالات وفحصها والإعلان عنها، بحسب قناة “الحرة”.
وكان وزير الصحة الفرنسي أوليفيه فيران أعلن في وقت سابق أن 6 حالات من بين 100 حالة مصابة بالفيروس في فرنسا، قد عادت مؤخرًا من مصر، منهم اثنتان في حالة خطرة.
كما أعلن مسؤول في وزارة الصحة الكندية أنه تم تسجيل حالة إصابة لرجل في الثمانينات من عمره عاد من مصر، وأعلنت تايوان وفاة امراة جراء الإصابة بالفيروس عائدة من جولة سياحية في مصر.
رئيس الوزراء المصري مصطفى مدبولي أكد أن حكومته تواصلت مع فرنسا وكندا بشأن هذه التصريحات، والحصول على المعلومات الكافية عن هذه الحالة.
وأشار مدبولي إلى أن الحالات المصابة التي سجلتها في فرنسا كانت مقيمة ضمن فوج سياحي خلال الفترة 5-16 فبراير، وأن وزارة الصحة اتخذت الإجراءات اللازمة بمراجعة أماكن إقامتهم في مصر، وفحص جميع العاملين المتواجدين بمكان الإقامة، والمجموعة المرتبطة بصورة مباشرة بهذا الفوج السياحي، لتأمين المواطنين، والتأكد من عدم وجود إصابات.
وأوضح مدبولي أن الحكومة استوردت أجهزة بقيمة 150 مليون جنيه، لمكافحة المرض، مؤكداً أن حكومته لاتخفي شيئاً عن الفيروس.
تعليق الصحة العالمية
من جانبها، قالت منظمة الصحة العالمية إن الحالات المكتشفة حديثا في كندا وفرنسا لم يتم اكتشافها في مصر، لأنه لم تظهر على هذه الحالات أي من الأعراض أثناء مرورهم بنقاط الدخول المصرية، وبالتالي لا يمكن اكتشافهم من خلال فحص الدخول.
وأضافت أنه تم تسجيل حالة إصابة واحدة بالفيروس في مصر، وأن المريض تعافى تماماً من الإصابة، وأنها تعمل بشكل وثيق مع وزارة الصحة المصرية، لتقديم المشورة الفنية الخاصة بأنشطة التحقيق والاستجابة.
الهلع يصيب المصريين
وسادت حالة من الهلع بين المصريين عقب إعلان فرنسا وكندا تسجيل حالات إصابة لأشخاص عائدين من مصر، خوفاً من تفشي المرض، وقيام الحكومة بالتكتم على المعلومات.
وتداول رواد مواقع التواصل الإجتماعي تسجيلات صوتية لأمهات تحذرن من انتشار الفيروس في مصر، وأن لديهن معلومات عن ظهور حالات إصابة في عدد من المدن، لكن الحكومة تتكتم على المعلومات.
