Spring Home products failed to disclose likely milk content: Health ministry
الصحة: منتجات سبرينغ هوم منشأ سنغافورة تحتوي على حليب غير معلن عنه في بيان المنتجات
Ministry of Public Health said the Spring Home pastry products may contain milk or its traces, but not disclosed so by the importer, and hence not safe for those having allergy to milk products.
The ministry told the importer to withdraw some related products from the market, which are:
Spring Home TYJ spring roll pastry products (best before: 8/2/2023), Spring Home samosa pastry best before: (8/2/2023) and Spring Home chicken spring roll (best before: 8/2/2023).
The ministry said it has received an “international notification regarding the possibility of containing milk” in these products, originating from Singapore.
The ministry asked the importer to label the products indicating milk content or its effects. “Measures have been taken to ensure the products are not displayed in the market defying relevant requirements,” it said.
This notification comes within those related to food safety issues with milk products. Various global, national standards stipulate it’s a consumer’s right to know of the content so as to be spared of risk.
The ministry called upon all those who purchased the products, if they have milk allergy, not to consume them. If they already consumed them, they are told to go to the nearest health center for any negative symptoms.
The ministry, with the authority to check imported food products, is in regular touch with international bodies related to food safety and follows new reports and gets periodic notifications from abroad.
أعلنت وزارة الصحة العامة أنها تلقت إخطارا دولياً بشأن احتمالية احتواء منتجات من معجنات سبرينغ هوم “Spring Home” منشأ سنغافورة علي حليب أو آثار للحليب غير معلن عنه في بطاقة البيان الخاصة بهذه المنتجات.
وقامت الوزارة بالتواصل مع المستورد وطلب سحب المنتجات ذات الصلة من الأسواق، وهي منتجات:

وإعادة تأهيلها بوضع ملصق واضح يبين احتمال احتوائها على الحليب أو آثاره، كما اتخذت الوزارة الإجراءات اللازمة لضمان عدم عرض المنتجات في الأسواق بصورة غير مطابقة للاشتراطات ذات الصلة.
ويصنف هذا النوع من الإخطارات ضمن تلك المتعلقة بالسلامة الغذائية للفئة الاستهلاكية التي لديها تحسس من منتجات الحليب، ولذلك تتطلب اللوائح الفنية والمواصفات القياسية القطرية والعالمية الإعلان عن هذه المكونات كحق من حقوق المستهلك لتجنب تعرضه لمثل هذا النوع من المخاطر.
وتهيب وزارة الصحة العامة بجميع الأشخاص الذين لديهم حساسية من الحليب وقاموا بشراء هذه المنتجات بعدم استهلاكها، ومراجعة أقرب مركز صحي حال استهلاكهم للمنتجات وظهور أي أعراض سلبية عليهم لها علاقة بهذا النوع من التحسس.
يشار إلى أن وزارة الصحة العامة بصفتها جهة الاختصاص بالرقابة على الأغذية المستوردة تقوم بالتواصل المستمر مع المنظمات والهيئات الدولية ذات الصلة بسلامة الغذاء وتتلقى إخطارات دورية كما تتابع التقارير المستجدة الصادرة والمتعلقة بسلامة وصلاحية وجودة الغذاء.
