HMC wins Microsoft Qatar Digital Transformation Award
«حمد الطبية» تحصد جائزة جائزة مايكروسوفت للتحول الرقمي
Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has been honoured by Microsoft with the Qatar Digital Transformation Award.
The award was presented during a special ceremony that distinguished the country’s most innovative organisations in the field of digital transformation.
Microsoft Digital Transformation Awards recognise organisations and entities that are playing a leading role in driving successful digitisation initiatives that result in better engagement of customers, empowered employees, optimised operations and reinvented
products and services.
HMC was awarded the Digital Transformation Award for rolling out an intelligent security platform and implementing platforms that empower employees and care teams to do more with fewer resources, it has said in a statement.
“HMC started the journey to a secure modern digital workplace to empower employees and care teams to be more productive and to do more with less. HMC’s modern digital workplace creates experiences that put our people at the center and provide the collaborative, intelligent and secure experience required for today’s fast-paced work environment,” said Richard Storey, chief of the Health Information and Communications Technology Department at HMC.
“We started rolling out an intelligent security platform for HMC employees with Windows 10 upgrades, diverse Office 365 services and a secure collaboration tool using Microsoft Teams. We believe that Microsoft Teams can streamline communication and collaboration,
and improve the efficiency and success of our care teams. With Windows 10 and Advanced Threat Protection, Enterprise Mobility, Security and Office 365, we achieved the high level of agility, manageability and security that we were looking for to support our journey,” added Storey.
Microsoft Teams is a unified communications platform that combines persistent workplace chat, video meetings, file storage and application integration.
Lana Khalaf, general manager of Microsoft Qatar, said the award recognises the success of organisations who have taken a leap in their digital transformation journey.
“Qatar National Vision 2030 aims to transform the country into an advanced society that is capable of sustaining its development and providing a high standard of living for its people. Technological innovation is an integral part of this effort,” said Khalaf. “The customers we celebrate with these awards are remarkable examples of how the intelligent cloud and the intelligent edge can be leveraged to innovate and get ahead of the curve to gain a competitive advantage in a digital-first world.”
حازت مؤسسة حمد الطبية على جائزة مايكروسوفت للتحول الرقمي، خلال حفل خاص أقيم بهذه المناسبة لتكريم المؤسسات المتميزة والمبتكرة على مستوى دولة قطر في التحول الرقمي.
وتقدم مايكروسوفت جائزة التحول الرقمي للمؤسسات والهيئات التي تلعب دوراً قيادياً في إنجاح المبادرات الرقمية، ومشاركة العملاء بشكل أفضل، وتساهم في تمكين الموظفين وتحسين العمليات وإعادة تصميم المنتجات والخدمات.
وقد جرى منح مؤسسة حمد الطبية جائزة التحول الرقمي لتطبيقها منصة ذكية لأمن المعلومات، ومنصات أخرى لتمكين الموظفين وفرق الرعاية من إجراء المزيد من العمليات بمصادر أقل.
وحول هذه الجائزة قال السيد ريتشارد ستوري- رئيس إدارة تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات الصحية بحمد الطبية: «بدأت المؤسسة تحويل مكان العمل إلى بيئة حديثة وآمنة رقمياً، بهدف تمكين الموظفين وفرق الرعاية ليصبحوا أكثر إنتاجية بخطوات أقل».
وأضاف: تساهم بيئة العمل الرقمية الحديثة بـ «حمد الطبية» في تعزيز خبرات وتعاون الموظفين فيما بينهم، وتزويدهم بمهارات ذكية وآمنة تتطلبها بيئة العمل السريعة في وقتنا الحالي».
وقال: «بدأنا تطبيق منصة آمنة وذكية للموظفين في مؤسسة حمد الطبية باستخدام تحديثات برنامج «ويندوز 10» وتطبيقات «أوفيس 365» المتنوعة وأدوات الدعم الآمنة، من خلال التعاون مع «مايكروسوفت تيمز» التي تساعدنا في تنظيم التواصل والتعاون وتحسين كفاءة فرق الرعاية ونجاحها»، لافتاً إلى أنه مع تطبيقات ويندوز 10 ونظم الحماية المتقدمة من التهديدات ونظم نقل المعلومات والأمان ونظم «أوفيس 365» تمكنت المؤسسة من تحقيق مستوى عالٍ من المرونة، والقدرة على التحكم والأمن اللازم للاستمرار.
وتعرف «مايكروسوفت تيمز» بأنها منصة موحدة للتواصل تجمع بين الدردشة المستمرة في مكان العمل والاجتماعات التي يمكن إجراؤها عبر الفيديو وإمكانية حفظ الملفات واستخدام التطبيقات.
من جانبها، قالت السيدة لانا خلف المدير العام لمايكروسوفت قطر: «إن حصول مؤسسة حمد الطبية على الجائزة جاء نتيجة نجاحها في بذل جهود كبيرة خلال رحلة التحول الرقمي.
وأوضحت «أن رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030 تهدف إلى التحول لمجتمع متطور وقادر على المضي قُدماً في إحداث التطور وتوفير مستوى عالٍ من الرفاه للشعب، ويعتبر التطور التكنولوجي جزءاً رئيسياً من تلك الجهود».
وأضافت: «إن العملاء الذين نحتفل بهم من خلال تلك الجوائز هم بمثابة الأمثلة الرائعة على كيفية الاستفادة من الخدمات الذكية لإيجاد حلول مبتكرة في بيئة تنافسية في العالم الرقمي».
