Kidzmondo & partners launch initiatives for people with special needs
«كيدز موندو» تفعّل مبادرة «الخير يجمعنا»
Kidzmondo Doha recently launched its charitable activities in connection with the holy month of Ramadan, ‘The good brings us together’ initiative by Kidzmondo Doha aimed to draw a smile on the faces of people with special needs. Kidzmondo Doha collaborated with sponsors and partners who did not hesitate to extend their hand to charity.
“Al Khair brings us together” is part of a series of activities undertaken by Kidzmondo Doha and Aura Leisure Services under their joint community responsibility programme.
Qatar Airways, the Islamic World Bank, Baladna Food Industries and Gulf Computer Company (GBM) have funded orphans and children with special needs with their families, in cooperation with Qatar Red Crescent and Qatar Charity.
The city of Kidzmondo Doha received more than 400 children at breakfast tables, followed by a special programme for Ramadan, where storytellers, puppets and mascots entertained them. The children spent their time playing various interactive roles in the city in a wonderful Ramadan atmosphere.
Zaher Shahib, sales manager of Aura Leisure Services Group, said: “The holy month of Ramadan is not only a charitable act, but if we do not feel the pain and suffering of others, we do not enjoy the meaning and value of giving , and that’s what we believe.”
Lama Zaroo Yousif, Director of Partnerships at Aura Entertainment Services, thanked the partners and sponsors for their participation and support for the Kidzmondo Doha initiative, “Goodness brings us together”. He welcomed the efforts to care for those with special needs and to allocate material and moral support. For her part, Huda Hamdan, Project Specialist at the Qatar Red Crescent Society’s Volunteer and Local Development
Sector, praised this generous approach by Kidzmondo and its partners, for providing psychosocial support to children with special needs.
Huda Hamdan hoped QRCS, Kindzmondo and others would continue collaboration on charitable and social welfare initiatives in the future.
أطلقت «كيدز موندو الدوحة» عملاً خيرياً يهدف إلى رسم بسمة على ثغر 400 طفل من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، عبر تفعيل مبادرتها «الخير يجمعنا» بالتعاون مع رعاة وشركاء لم يتوانوا عن مدّ اليد لعمل الخير.
وقالت «كيدز موندو» إن مبادرة «الخير يجمعنا» نشاط ضمن سلسلة تقوم بها هي وشركة أورا للخدمات الترفيهية، تحت برنامج المسؤولية المجتمعية المُشترك لديهما.
وتوحّدت الجهود لإنجاح المبادرة الخيرية عبر رعاة وشركاء هم: الخطوط الجوية القطرية، والبنك الدولي الإسلامي، وشركة بلدنا للصناعات الغذائية، وشركة الخليج للحاسبات الإلكترونية «GBM»، بتمويل إفطارات لأطفال من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة مع أهاليهم، وذلك بالتعاون مع الهلال الأحمر القطري و«قطر الخيرية» خلال شهر رمضان.
من جهته، أوضح السيد زاهر شهيّب -مدير المبيعات لمجموعة أورا للخدمات الترفيهية- أهمية المبادرة في رسم الابتسامة على وجوه الأطفال، كما أثنت لمى زارو يوسف -مديرة الشراكات- على دور الشركاء والرعاة ومشاركتهم ودعمهم لمبادرة «الخير يجمعنا».
بدورها، أشادت السيدة هدى حمدان -خبير المشاريع بقطاع التطوّع والتنمية المحلية في الهلال الأحمر القطري- بهذا التوجه النبيل، لتوفير الدعم النفسي للأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة.
