Ooredoo sponsors Tarsheed Carnival
Ooredoo الراعي الماسي لكرنفال ترشيد 2019
Ooredoo announced that it will be the Diamond Sponsor of Tarsheed Carnival, that began in the Kahramaa Awareness Park from yesterday and will run until February 28, under the theme “Less today. More tomorrow”.
The week-long carnival event, organised by Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation, is part of a national programme promoting energy efficiency and conservation in a fun, accessible way. The carnival will showcase several projects in keeping with the theme of sustainability, and will have different sectors including a food and beverage area.
Organisers expect the event to be popular, with some 10,000 visitors predicted to make their way to the Kahramaa Awareness Park over the week.
Manar Khalifa Al Muraikhi , Director PR and Corporate Communications at Ooredoo, said : “Supporting events that promote environmental sustainability is a key part of our corporate social responsibility strategy, and the Tarsheed Carnival is an excellent example of a community event that educates and informs our citizens and residents about sustainability. We look forward to a successful, enjoyable event for all.” The Tarsheed Carnival is open from Monday to Thursday 9am to 12pm and 5-9pm and 5-9pm on Friday and on Saturday.
أعلنت Ooredoo أنها ستكون الراعي الماسي خلال فعاليات كرنفال ترشيد الذي تستمر فعالياته بحديقة كهرماء للتوعية لغاية 28 فبراير الجاري.
ويقام الكرنفال بتنظيم من كهرماء تحت شعار “حافظ عليها اليوم.. لتدوم”، ويعتبر جزءاً من البرنامج الوطني لدعم كفاءة الطاقة والحفاظ عليها بطرق ممتعة وبسيطة. ويستعرض الكرنفال عدداً من المشاريع التي تُعنى بالاستدامة، كما يضم عدة أقسام متعلقة بهذا الموضوع، إلى جانب قسم خاص للمطاعم.
ويتوقع المنظمون أن تحظى هذه الفعالية بإقبال كبير نظراً لأهميتها وأقسامها المتنوعة والمفيدة، إذ أنه من المتوقع حضور أكثر من 10,000 زائر على مدار أيام الكرنفال.
