Amir welcomes Qatar’s 2019 Asian Cup champions

Doha: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani welcomed the Qatar National Football Team when they arrived in Doha with the Asian Cup 2019.

The Amir congratulated the players, coaching and administrative staff for the historic achievement. He praising the outstanding performance and the high sporting spirit of the team in the championship and wished them success in the upcoming tournaments.

H H Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Personal Representative of the Amir, H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, President of Qatar Olympic Committee and a number of dignitaries, ministers, senior officials, families of the players, Olympic and youth players, and a large number of citizens, residents and members of the media, also attended the reception.

وهنأ سمو الأمير أبطال المنتخب والجهازين الإداري والفني على هذا الإنجاز التاريخي، مشيدا بالأداء المميز والروح الرياضية العالية التي تحلى بها المنتخب في البطولة، متمنيا لهم التوفيق في البطولات الرياضية القادمة.

وكان في الاستقبال أيضا سمو الشيخ جاسم بن حمد آل ثاني الممثل الشخصي للأمير وعدد من أصحاب السعادة الشيوخ والوزراء وكبار المسؤولين وأهالي اللاعبين وعدد من لاعبي المنتخب الأول والأولمبي والشباب وجموع غفيرة من المواطنين والمقيمين ومنتسبي الإعلام.
