QatarEnergy Anticipates 40% Share of New LNG Production by 2029

Doha: Energy Minister of State for Energy Affairs, the President and CEO of QatarEnergy HE Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, said “40% of all the new LNG that will come to the market by 2029, when all our projects are up and running, is going to be from QatarEnergy.”
Speaking during a “Leadership Dialogue” held as part of the 20th International Conference & Exhibition on Liquefied Natural Gas, which is currently taking place in Vancouver, Canada, His Excellency said that as the world grows, “gas will always be needed as the cleanest fossil fuel for the base-load required for electricity production and for powering industrial and manufacturing factories.”

الدوحة: صرّح وزير الدولة لشؤون الطاقة والرئيس التنفيذي لشركة قطر للطاقة، سعادة السيد سعد شريدة الكعبي، بأن “٤٠٪ من إجمالي الغاز الطبيعي المسال الجديد الذي سيدخل السوق بحلول عام ٢٠٢٩، عندما تكون جميع مشاريعنا قائمة وجارية، سيكون من شركة قطر للطاقة”.
وخلال جلسة “حوار القادة” الذي أقيم ضمن فعاليات المؤتمر الدولي العشرون والمعرض للغاز الطبيعي المسال، الذي يُعقد حاليًا في فانكوفر، كندا، أشار سعادته إلى أنه مع نمو العالم، “سيكون الغاز دائمًا ضروريًا كوقود أحفوري نظيف لإنتاج الكهرباء وتشغيل المصانع والمنشآت الصناعية”.
