Hassan Al-Haydos Refuses to Comment to Al-Kass

Doha: Al-Sadd captain Hassan al-Haydos refused to comment to Al-Kass channels about his team’s match with Al Arabi in the QNB League.

Al-Haydos said: “I am coming today out of respect for Al -Kass channel,” and when asked about what angers him, he responded with a “No comment” nod, saying: “a word to a wise man is enough.” “All I’m saying is congratulations to us and our fans for winning.”

Some on social media commented on Al-Haydos refusal to comment to “Al -Kass” as they considered it a response to the decision of the disciplinary committee to suspend Akram Afif after his statements to the same channel.

The Qatar Football Association announced yesterday the decision of the disciplinary committee to suspend Akram Afif, Al Sadd player, for two matches and to fine him QR 30,000 for his statements to the media.

Afif’s statement during an interview with Al-Kass channels after the Qatar Cup semi-final against Al Rayyan sparked a major controversy on social media and in sporting communities.

“We were playing in front of 11 and a half players,” Afif said during the statement, referring to the referee who did not protect them from the roughness of al-Rayyan players.

He pointed out that it was the roughness of the game that caused him to receive a yellow card.

الدوحة: رفض قائد فريق السد حسن الهيدوس التعليق لقنوات “الكاس” حول مباراة فريقه مع العربي في دوري QNB.

وقال الهيدوس : “انا طالع اليوم احتراما لقناة الكاس”، وبسؤاله عما يغضبه، ردا بإشارة “لا تعليق”، قائلا: “كل لبيب بالإشارة يفهم” .. “كل ما أقوله مبروك لنا ولجمهورنا على الفوز” .

وعقب البعض على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي على رفض الهيدوس التصريح لـ “الكاس” إذ اعتبروه ردا على قرار لجنة الانضباط بتوقيف أكرم عفيف على خلفية تصريحاته للقناة نفسها .

وكان الاتحاد القطري لكرة القدم قد أعلن أمس عن قرار لجنة الانضباط لتوقيف أكرم عفيف، لاعب نادي السد مبارتين وتغريمه 30 ألف ريال بسبب تصريحاته لوسائل الإعلام.

وكان قد أثار تصريح عفيف خلال مقابلة له مع قنوات الكاس بعد مبارة نصف نهائي كأس قطر أمام الريان جدلًا كبيرًا على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي وفي الأوساط الرياضية.

وقال عفيف خلال التصريح: “كنا نلعب أمام 11 لاعبًا ونصف”، مشيرًا إلى الحكم الذي لم يُوفر لهم الحماية أمام خشونة لاعبي الريان.

وأشار إلى أن خشونة اللعب هي التي تسببت في حصوله على البطاقة الصفراء.
