PM visits Al Hedaya school for people with special needs

DOHA: Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, visited Al Hedaya Kindergarten and Primary School for Special Needs yesterday to find out about the educational and training services offered to students.

The Prime Minister was briefed about the various facilities of the school and its educational, and specialised training programs presented to this important group in the community, QNA reported.

The Prime Minister visited the Roua Assessment Advice and Support Centre of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in order to assess the potential of the Center’s work and to see the quality of services provided to students with additional educational support, their teachers and their parents.

During the two visits, he also called for hard work and continuous development of educational, training and guidance programs for people with special needs, their families and teachers, and to keep up with new developments in the field of education and training at all levels, and to provide the centres concerned with specialized cadres qualified to provide services in accordance with the highest international standards. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Minister of Education and Higher Education H E Dr Mohammed bin Abdul Wahed Al Hammadi, and a number of senior officials of the Ministry.

قام معالي الشيخ عبدالله بن ناصر بن خليفة آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية، صباح أمس، بزيارة تفقدية لمدرسة وروضة «الهداية» الابتدائية لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، للوقوف على الخدمات التعليمية والتدريبية التي تقدم للطلبة.

اطلع معاليه خلال الزيارة على

مختلف مرافق المدرسة وبرامجها التعليمية والتربوية والتدريبية المتخصصة والمقدمة لهذه الفئة المهمة في المجتمع.

كما قام معالي رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية، بزيارة لمركز «رؤى» للتقييم والاستشارات والدعم، التابع لوزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي، وذلك للوقوف على إمكانات العمل بالمركز، والاطلاع على نوعية الخدمات المقدمة للطلبة ذوي الدعم التعليمي الإضافي ومعلميهم وأولياء أمورهم.

ووجه معاليه خلال الزيارتين، بالعمل الجاد والتطوير المستمر للبرامج التربوية والتدريبية والإرشادية المخصصة لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة وأسرهم ومعلميهم، ومواكبة كل جديد في مجال تعليمهم وتدريبهم بمختلف مستوياتهم، ورفد المراكز المعنية

بهم بالكوادر المتخصصة والمؤهلة لتقديم خدمات مميزة وفق أعلى المعايير الدولية.
