قطر تبلغ مجلس الأمن والأمين العام للأمم المتحدة عن قيام طائرة عسكرية بحرينية باختراق مجالها الجوي
New York: Qatar has reported to the UN Security Council and UN secretary general a breach of its sovereignty by Bahrain.
In a message addressed by Ambassador Sheikha Alia Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani, Qatar’s permanent representative to the United Nations, to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and Karel van Oosterom, the president of the UN Security Council for this month, she mentioned that a Bahraini fighter jet has violated the airspace of Qatar on Sunday, March 25.
The message described the incident as a serious breach that constitutes a serious and flagrant violation of international law, noting that repeated violations of Qatari sovereignty would increase tension in the region without regard to its security and stability.
The government of Qatar renewed its call on the United Nations to take the necessary measures under the charter in order to maintain international peace and security and put an end to repeated Bahraini violations.
While the message highlighted that Qatar has continued its policy of restraint towards irresponsible and provocative practices, it stressed that Qatar strongly condemns any violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and that it reserves the right to respond to any violations and will not hesitate to take the necessary measures to protect its sovereignty and defend its borders, airspace, territorial waters and national security in line with international laws and regulations.
أبلغت دولة قطر، مجلس الأمن الدولي والأمين العام للأمم المتحدة عن خرق لسيادة دولة قطر قامت به مملكة البحرين.
ففي رسالة وجهتها سعادة السفيرة الشيخة علياء أحمد بن سيف آل ثاني، المندوب الدائم لدولة قطر لدى الأمم المتحدة، إلى كل من سعادة السيد أنطونيو غوتيريش، الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة، وسعادة السفير كاريل فان اوستريم، رئيس مجلس الأمن الدولي لهذا الشهر، ذكرت سعادتها أن طائرة مقاتلة بحرينية اخترقت المجال الجوي لدولة قطر يوم الأحد الموافق 25 مارس الجاري.
ووصفت الرسالة هذه الحادثة بأنها خرق خطير يشكل انتهاكا خطيرا وصارخا للقانون الدولي.. منوّهة بأن تكرار الانتهاكات للسيادة القطرية من شأنه زيادة التوتر في المنطقة دون اعتبار لأمنها واستقرارها.
وجددت حكومة دولة قطر مطالبتها للأمم المتحدة باتخاذ ما يلزم، بموجب الميثاق، لحفظ السلم والأمن الدوليين ووضع حد للانتهاكات البحرينية المتكررة.
وفي الوقت الذي أبرزت فيه الرسالة أن دولة قطر قد واصلت سياسة ضبط النفس تجاه الممارسات غير المسؤولة والاستفزازية التي تتعرض لها، فقد أكدت أن دولة قطر تدين بشدة أي خرق لسيادتها وسلامتها الإقليمية، وأنها تحتفظ بالحق في الرد على أي انتهاكات، ولن تتردد في اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لحماية سيادتها وللدفاع عن حدودها ومجالها الجوي والبحري وأمنها القومي، وفقاً للقوانين والضوابط الدولية.
