Packages 1 & 2 of Roads & Infra. Project in Rawdat Abal Heeran Completed
اكتمال الحزمتين 1 و2 لمشروع تطوير الطرق والبنية التحتية في روضة أبا الحيران
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announced the completion of packages 1 and 2 of the Roads and Infrastructure Development Project in Rawdat Abal Heeran, and opening of all roads within the project area for traffic use.
On this occasion, Eng. Salem Al Shawi, Assistant Roads Projects Department Manager in Ashghal, stated that the first and second packages of the Roads and Infrastructure project in Rawdat Abal Heeran serve almost 2622 residential plots, and several schools, mosques, and public places, on a total area of 5,300,000 square metres. A Wide range of road development and construction works were implemented. This is in addition to implementing infrastructure development works according to the highest standards.
Eng. Salem Al Shawi explained that the two packages included the construction of 68 Km of modern roads along with associated service roads in order to reduce traffic congestion hence facilitating access to all the residential and commercial establishments in the area. Other works to enhance traffic safety were implemented, such as providing pedestrian and cyclist paths, pedestrian crossings, parking bays, and street lighting. This is in addition to installing interlock and landscaping works that aimed to improve the quality of life for the residents and business owners in the area.
Eng. Salem elaborated “The two packages included works to develop the infrastructure in the area, including the construction of a new sewer drainage network, which will eliminate the use of sewage tanks and solve the problem of groundwater pollution and its environmental and health impact. A surface water drainage system was also constructed using micro-tunneling technique, in addition to constructing a treated sewage effluent network to be used for irrigation purposes.”
It is worth mentioning that, in order to eliminate nuisance and discomfort to citizens in the future, works related to services for more than 1400 undeveloped plots have been constructed and completed such as roads, drainage, potable water and electrical connections.
The first package of the Roads and Infrastructure Development Project in Rawdat Abal Heeran was implemented by “QBS International”, while the second project was implemented by “Al-Tayseer Contracting Company” and “Consolidated Contractors Company” joint venture, at a total cost of approximately QR 989 million.
Some of the minor remaining works are currently being completed, such as installing interlock and energize street lighting, landscaping, and works related to Ooredoo communications line.
أعلنت هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن اكتمال تنفيذ أعمال الحزمتين الأولى والثانية لمشروع تطوير الطرق والبنية التحتية في روضة أبا الحيران، وافتتاح جميع الشوارع ضمن نطاق الحزمتين أمام الحركة المرورية.
وبهذه المناسبة صرّح المهندس سالم الشاوي، مساعد مدير إدارة مشاريع الطرق في “أشغال”، بأن الحزمتين الأولى والثانية لمشروع تطوير الطرق والبنية التحتية في روضة أبا الحيران تخدمان حوالي 2622 قسيمة سكنية والعديد من المدارس والمساجد والأماكن العامة على مساحة إجمالية تبلغ حوالي 5,300,000 متر مربع. حيث تم تنفيذ شبكة طرق جديدة، بالإضافة إلى تنفيذ أعمال لتطوير البنية التحتية من شبكة صرف صحي وشبكة لتصريف المياه السطحية وشبكة مياه معالجة بغرض الزراعة بالمنطقة وفق أعلى المواصفات.
وأوضح المهندس سالم الشاوي بأنه تم خلال الحزمتين إنشاء طرق حديثة بطول إجمالي يبلغ حوالي 68 كيلومترا وتوفير الطرق الخدمية، وذلك لتخفيف الازدحام وتسهيل الوصول إلى جميع المنشآت السكنية والخدمية بالمنطقة. كما تم تنفيذ أعمال لتعزيز السلامة المرورية شملت توفير ممرات مخصصة للمشاة والدراجات الهوائية، وممرات عبور للمشاة، ومواقف للسيارات، وأنظمة إنارة الشوارع، وكذلك تنفيذ أعمال تركيب الإنترلوك والتجميل بهدف تحسين جودة الحياة لسكان المنطقة وأصحاب الأعمال الخدمات فيها.
وأضاف: “شملت الحزمتان أعمال لتطوير البنية التحتية بالمنطقة بما في ذلك إنشاء شبكة صرف صحي جديدة مع توصيل المنازل لها لتتيح الاستغناء عن خزانات وصهاريج الصرف الصحي وحل مشكلة تلوث المياه الجوفية والآثار البيئية والصحية المترتبة عليها. كما تم إنشاء شبكة لتصريف المياه السطحية باستخدام تقنية الحفر النفقي، وإنشاء شبكة لمياه الصرف المعالجة بهدف الاستفادة منها في أغراض الزراعة وأعمال التشجير.”
ويجدر الذكر أنه وبهدف تقليل الآثار الإنشائية والإزعاج للمواطنين مستقبلاً، تم الانتهاء من توصيل جميع الخدمات للصرف الصحي وأعمال توصيل الكهرباء والمياه للقسائم التي لم يتم نشاؤها والتي يبلغ عددها أكثر من 1400 قسيمة.
قام بتنفيذ الحزمة الأولى من مشروع تطوير الطرق والبنية التحتية في روضة أبا الحيران شركة “كيو بي إس إنترناشونال”، بينما قام بتنفيذ الحزمة الثانية من المشروع ائتلاف “شركة التيسير للمقاولات” و”مجموعة المقاولون المتحدون”. وبلغت التكلفة الإجمالية لتنفيذ الحزمتين حوالي 989 مليون ريال قطري.
ويجري حالياً استكمال بعض الأعمال المتبقية ضمن الحزمة الأولي والثانية من المشروع مثل أعمال تركيب الإنترلوك وإنارة الشوارع، والأعمال الخاصة بخطوط شبكة اتصالات “أوريدو”.
