Doha: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has outlined the permitted business activities for operating from home, along with the requirements and procedures for licensing, on its official Twitter account.
Permitted home-based business activities include:
- Preparation of various types of Arabic sweets.
- Preparation and processing of pastries and baked goods.
- Catering services for events.
- Coffee, spice, and seasoning preparation.
- Website design.
- Software maintenance and website page design.
- Parcel and gift packaging.
- Copying and printing services.
- Document, memo, and letter packaging.
- Bookbinding.
- Production and preparation of cosmetics.
- Perfume and incense making.
- Handicrafts and gift making.
- Tailoring and sewing of women’s clothing.
- Embroidery and fabric preparation.
Requirements for applying for a home license:
• Application form for commercial licenses.
• Completion certificate of the building or land plan.
• Ownership deed.
• No-objection letter from the property owner.
• Undertaking by the license holder.
• Certificate for those concerned (Kahramaa).
• Personal ID photos (applicant and property owner).
• Address board.

• نموذج طلب الرخص التجارية
