Ministry of Labour Receives Over 18,000 New Applications for Recruitment in June 2023

Doha: The Ministry of Labour issued the monthly statistical bulletin for June 2023, which includes the most prominent statistics and figures of the labour sector in the country, as well as the results of inspection visits to various establishments subject to the provisions of the Labour Law.

The statistical bulletin showed that the Ministry received about 18,027 new applications for recruitment – 10,935 applications were approved, and 7,092 applications were rejected, while the total number of applications for profession modification reached 3,303 applications, 3,262 applications were approved, and 41 others were rejected.

According to the bulletin issued by the Ministry of Labour today, the number of work permit applications submitted to the Ministry during the month of June reached 929, including 600 applications for permit renewal, 56 applications for issuing a new permit, and 273 applications for cancelling issued permits.

In terms of inspection visits to labour recruitment offices, the statistical bulletin showed that the ministry carried out 152 inspection visits of recruitment offices, 147 of which ended in acceptance, four of them in violation, and one visit (1) ended with notice of removing a violation.

During the month of June, the Labour Inspection Department carried out intensive inspection campaigns to monitor the extent to which establishments comply with laws and ministerial decisions concerned with regulating the labour market in the country, with a total number of inspection visits of 4,472 visits in various regions, which resulted in sending warnings to 522 companies to remove the violation, while the number of violations recorded against companies reached 50.

Regarding labour complaints, the statistical bulletin showed that the Department of Labour Relations received 2,210 complaints from workers against their employing establishments, of which 546 complaints were settled, 46 were referred to the Labour Dispute Settlement Committees, and 1659 complaints remained under the procedure. The Labour Relations Department also received 111 complaints from the public and all of them were settled.

According to the monthly statistical bulletin with regard to the Labour Dispute Settlement Committees, the number of cases referred to the dispute settlement committees during the past month was 16, and the total number of decisions issued by the Labour Dispute Settlement Committees 552, while 951 cases are still under procedure.

الدوحة: أعلنت وزارة العمل تلقيها، خلال الشهر الماضي، 18 ألفا و27 طلب استقدام جديدا، و3 آلاف و303 طلبات لتعديل المهنة.

وذكرت الوزارة، في نشرتها الإحصائية الشهرية ليونيو الماضي، أنها وافقت على 10 آلاف و935 طلب استقدام جديدا، ورفضت 7 آلاف و92 طلبا آخر، مشيرة إلى أنها وافقت أيضا على 3 آلاف و262 طلب تعديل مهنة، ورفض 41 طلبا آخر.

وأوضحت النشرة الإحصائية لشهر يونيو الماضي أن عدد طلبات تصاريح العمل المقدمة للوزارة بلغ 929 تصريحا، منها 600 طلب لتجديد التصريح، و56 طلبا لإصدار تصريح جديد، و273 طلبا لإلغاء تصاريح صادرة.

وعلى صعيد الزيارات التفتيشية على مكاتب استقدام العمالة، أظهرت النشرة الإحصائية أن الوزارة قامت بتنفيذ نحو 152 جولة تفتيشية على مكاتب الاستقدام، انتهت 147 منها بالقبول، و4 منها بالمخالفة، إلى جانب انتهاء زيارة واحدة على محضر بإزالة المخالفة.

كما قامت إدارة تفتيش العمل، خلال الشهر الماضي، بحملات تفتيشية مكثفة لمراقبة مدى التزام المنشآت بالقوانين والقرارات الوزارية المعنية بتنظيم سوق العمل في الدولة، بإجمالي 4472 زيارة بمختلف المناطق، أسفرت عن توجيه تنبيه لـ 522 شركة بإزالة المخالفة، فيما بلغ عدد محاضر ضبط المخالفات ضد الشركات 50 محضرا، و269 قرار إغلاق جزئي أو كلي لموقع العمل بسبب الإجهاد الحراري.

وبشأن الشكاوى العمالية، أظهرت النشرة الإحصائية استقبال إدارة المنازعات العمالية شكاوى من عمالة المنشأة ضد المنشأة بنحو 2210 شكاوى، سويت منها 546 شكوى، بينما أحيل منها 16 شكوى للجان فض المنازعات العمالية، وبقي تحت الإجراء 1659 شكوى، مقابل تلقي 111 بلاغا من الجمهور، سويت جميعها.

وفي سياق متصل، بلغ عدد القضايا التي تمت إحالتها على لجان فض المنازعات العمالية، في يونيو، 16 قضية، وإجمالي عدد القرارات الصادرة من هذه اللجان 552 قرارا، تراوحت بين قرارات قطعية وشطب، فيما بلغ إجمالي القضايا التي ما زالت تحت الإجراء 951 قضية.
