People in Qatar Spent Over 13 Billion Riyals on Travel and Tourism in Just 3 Months

Doha: More than 13 billion Qatari riyals have been spent by the people living in Qatar on travel and tourism in 3 months.
Qatar’s spending on tourism and travel during the first quarter of 2023 increased by 28% annually, reaching 13.1 billion Qatari riyals, according to data from the Qatar Central Bank’s balance of payments, as reported by CNBC.
Doha, the capital of Qatar, has witnessed a surge in tourism and travel revenues during the first three months of this year, reaching approximately 6.8 billion Qatari riyals, a 52% increase compared to last year.
Qatar’s tourism, travel, and transportation revenues in the fourth quarter of 2022 (the World Cup period) reached around 32.4 billion Qatari riyals, marking the highest quarterly value ever recorded.

ارتفع إنفاق سكان قطر على السياحة والسفر خلال الربع الأول من عام 2023 بنسبة 28% على أساس سنوي وصولاً إلى 13.1 مليار ريال وفق ما نقلته قناة (CNBC) عن بيانات ميزان المدفوعات الصادر عن مصرف قطر المركزي.
و بلغت إيرادات الدوحة من السياحة و السفر خلال الأشهر الثلاثة الأولى من العام الجاري نحو 6.8 مليار ريال بزيادة نسبتها 52% قياساً بالفترة المقابلة من العام الماضي.
كانت إيرادات قطر من قطاعي السياحة والسفر والنقل في الربع الاخير من عام 2022 (فترة المونديال) قد بلغت نحو 32.4 مليار ريال، و هي أعلى قيمة ربعية على الإطلاق.
