وأوضح بيان صحفي صادر عن متاحف قطر، أن قطر أثبتت نفسها كمركز مزدهر يوقد شعلة الإبداع، ويحتفي بالتنوع ويغرس شعورا عميقا بالانتماء، ويتماشى مع ركائز التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والبشرية لرؤية قطر الوطنية 2030، وذلك من خلال احتضانها للتعبير الثقافي والاستثمار فيه.

وذكر البيان أن المشهد الثقافي الحيوي لدولة قطر، يعد بمثابة أداة للتعبير الثقافي، والاحتفاء بالتراث، ورعاية الابتكار، ووضع تصور لمستقبل واعد، حيث تمثل قطر مصدرا ملهما للتعبير الثقافي، وتشجع النمو الشخصي والمهني للأفراد، بما يسهم في التنمية البشرية والاجتماعية بشكل عام، ويتأتى ذلك من خلال دعم الفنانين المحليين، وتيسير شؤون المشهد الفني العام في الدوحة، ورعاية مجتمع فني مزدهر.

وأشارت متاحف قطر في البيان إلى أن هذه الجهود المبذولة في سبيل تحقيق المساعي الفنية، قد أثمرت مجتمعا إبداعيا مزدهرا يساهم في الحفاظ على التراث الثقافي الغني لدولة قطر ويروج له، وقد أصبح الإرث الثقافي للدولة يوقظ فينا شعورا قويا بالهوية والاعتزاز بها، بما يدعم التفاهم بين أفراد فئات شعب قطر المتنوعة، وذلك من خلال إنجازات مهمة كإدراج موقع الزبارة ضمن قائمة /اليونسكو/ للتراث العالمي عام 2013، وافتتاح متحف قطر الوطني عام 2019 ، ومن خلال إظهارها هوية ثقافية متعددة الأوجه للعالم، حيث إن دولة قطر تعمل على إبراز ما يكتسيه التراث الثقافي من أهمية، كما تسهم في التقدير العالمي الذي يحظى به التنوع الثقافي، إلى جانب تطرقها أيضا لمجال البيئة من خلال اعتمادها نهجا مستداما في الهندسة المعمارية، وتنظيم المعارض، والحفاظ على المواقع التراثية.

كما نوهت متاحف قطر بتطور مبادرة /الأعوام الثقافية/ لدولة قطر، التي تقام كل عام، لتصبح منصة لها صدى قوي في تشجيع التبادل الثقافي بين الدول، على مدى العقد الماضي، حيث عرضت هذه المبادرة التنوع الثري للثقافات العالمية، وأقامت صداقات دائمة، ورسخت التفاهم المتبادل بين الشعوب، انطلاقا من العام الثقافي قطر – اليابان 2012، ووصولا إلى العام الثقافي قطر-إندونيسيا 2023، إذ احتفى كل عام ثقافي بتراث الدول المشاركة وفنونها، وتواصل دولة قطر من خلال برنامج الأعوام الثقافة بناء الجسور وتوطيد العلاقات الدولية، مما يعزز مكانتها كرائد عالمي في مجال التبادل الثقافي.

وأشار البيان إلى تواصل جهود دولة قطر في سبيل التنمية الثقافية، في سعي منها لبناء مستقبل مشرق، وتشمل المشاريع المقبلة /دد/ متحف الأطفال في قطر، أول متحف من نوعه في المنطقة، الذي سيشكل فضاء متفردا لتعلم الأطفال ونموهم من خلال اللعب والاستكشاف بلا حدود ، و/مطاحن الفن/ الذي يرتقب افتتاحه عام 2030، سيعرض الفن العالمي الحديث منه والمعاصر، ويضم تخصصات إبداعية متنوعة، ومتحف /لوسيل/ الذي سيحتفي هذا العام بالتراث الثقافي الغني لدولة قطر من خلال مجموعاته الواسعة من لوحات وصور فوتوغرافية وأفلام وأزياء وفنون زخرفية ، ومتحف /قطر للسيارات/، الذي يركز على شراكات تكون بين القطاعين العام والخاص وممارسات مستدامة، وسيضطلع هذا المتحف بدور محوري في تشكيل مستقبل وسائل النقل.
