First Qatar Real Estate Forum 2023 Begins Today

Doha: Under the auspices of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani the 1st Qatar Real Estate Forum 2023 is set begin on Sunday.

Organized by the Ministry of Municipality, the two-day forum will be held at Sheraton Doha Hotel under the theme of: “Regulations and Legislations for an Optimal Quality of Life and a Sustainable Real Estate Industry” with the participation of a number of Their Excellencies the ministers, CEOs operating in real estate sector, alongside several active personalities from Qatar and abroad.

Featuring 35 keynote speakers and 1500 leaders, decision makers, experts and active entities in real estate sector at the local an international levels, the forum highlights the best regional and international experiences and practices relevant to the real estate sector to bolster the process of creating a conducive environment for real estate sector and formulating essential approaches and mechanisms to manage and develop this sector in a way that best suits the State of Qatar’s ambitions in supporting and reviving this vital sector since it leads the development engine to other numerous sectors.

The event includes numerous panel discussions and workshops that address several key themes, such as future trends of real estate sector, anticipating the future of real estate sector, real estate governance, digital innovation for a sustainable real estate industry, real estate in the post-FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament, investors’ journey between reality and hope, funding policies and mechanisms, as well as future cities for a better life quality.

The workshops will address 4 topics, namely mortgage systems and real estate funding, Qatari real estate investment (Stages, challenges, and solutions), real estate appraisal, international reference and professional practice, real estate development project management and facilities management programs.

The forum’s organizing committee has previously launched the forum’s electronic website: https://qreforum.com through which essential services and facilitations are afforded to participants, emphasizing that it has streamlined the subscription process, as logistical assistance has been provided to participants to follow up on places of residence and movement, along with all other logistical details related to residence during the convention period.

The committee has also organized an accompanying exhibition on the margins of the forum to showcase the state-of-the-art technologies achieved in sustainable real estate industry.

The Ministry of Municipality organizes the first edition of Qatar Real Estate Forum in partnership with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Justice, Expo 2023 Doha Qatar, alongside Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company.

The forum patronizes a number of national enterprises and institutions, and it comes within the framework of the great interest prioritized by the State of Qatar for this critical sector.
The forum includes a broad range of platforms that bring together business leaders in real estate sector at all levels, locally, regionally and internationally to lay out a roadmap for the real estate development process, encourage young national talents working in this sector and support the implementation of real estate sector development strategy in the State of Qatar and its outcomes in light of the current distinguished stature of Qatar as a prosperous financial, trade and economic hub.

الدوحة: تحت رعاية معالي الشيخ محمد بن عبدالرحمن بن جاسم آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية، تنطلق /الأحد/ أعمال النسخة الأولى من منتدى قطر العقاري 2023، الذي تنظمه وزارة البلدية على مدى يومين في فندق شيراتون الدوحة تحت شعار “التنظيمات والتشريعات لجودة حياة مثلى وصناعة عقارية مستدامة”، وذلك بمشاركة عدد من أصحاب السعادة الوزراء والرؤساء التنفيذيين العاملين في القطاع العقاري بالإضافة إلى العديد من الشخصيات الفاعلة من داخل قطر وخارجها.

ويسلط المنتدى، الذي يشارك به 35 متحدثا و 1500 من القادة وصناع القرار والخبراء والجهات الفاعلة في القطاع العقاري على الصعيدين المحلي والدولي، الضوء على أفضل التجارب والممارسات الإقليمية والعالمية المتعلقة بالقطاع العقاري، بهدف تعزيز عملية خلق مناخ متميز لقطاع الاستثمار العقاري وصياغة المنهجيات والآليات اللازمة لإدارته وتنميته على النحو الذي يحقق طموحات دولة قطر في دعم هذا القطاع الحيوي وإنعاشه، كونه يقود قاطرة التنمية لقطاعات أخرى عديدة.

ويتضمن المنتدى العديد من الجلسات النقاشية وورش العمل التي ستتناول عددا من المحاور الرئيسية، مثل التوجهات المستقبلية للقطاع العقاري، واستشراف مستقبل القطاع العقاري، وحوكمة القطاع العقاري، والابتكار الرقمي لصناعة عقارية مستدامة، والقطاع العقاري ما بعد استضافة بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022، ورحلة المستثمر بين الواقع والمأمول، وسياسات وآليات التمويل، ومدن المستقبل لجودة حياة أفضل، بينما تتناول الورش أربعة موضوعات، هي أنظمة الرهن والتمويل العقاري، والاستثمار العقاري القطري (المراحل والتحديات والحلول)، والتقييم العقاري والمرجعية الدولية والممارسة المهنية، وبرامج إدارة مشروعات التنمية العقارية وإدارة المرافق.

كانت اللجنة المنظمة للمنتدى أعلنت في وقت سابق عن إطلاق موقع إلكتروني خاص بالمنتدى (https://qreforum.com)، يتم من خلاله توفير الخدمات والتسهيلات اللازمة للمشاركين، مؤكدة سهولة عملية التسجيل للمشاركة في المؤتمر. ونوهت بتوفير مساعدات لوجستية للمشاركين لمتابعة أماكن الإقامة والتنقل وجميع التفاصيل اللوجستية الأخرى المتعلقة بالإقامة خلال فترة انعقاد أعمال المنتدى.

كما أعلنت اللجنة المنظمة للمنتدى عن تنظيم معرض مصاحب على هامش أعمال المنتدى، بهدف عرض أحدث ما توصلت إليه التكنولوجيا في صناعة العقار المستدام.

وتنظم وزارة البلدية النسخة الأولى من منتدى قطر العقاري بالشراكة مع وزارات التجارة والصناعة والعدل والمالية، بالإضافة إلى /إكسبو 2023 الدوحة/ وشركة الديار القطرية، كما يرعى المنتدى عدد من الشركات والمؤسسات الوطنية، حيث يأتي تنظيم المنتدى في إطار الاهتمام الكبير الذي توليه دولة قطر لهذا القطاع الحيوي.
