Qatar’s Inbound Visitors See Y-o-Y 183.5-Percent Increase in March

Doha: The total number of inbound visitors reached 433 thousand, surging by 183.5 percent compared to the same month the previous year, and 11.3 percent versus February 2023, the 111th issue of (Qatar; Monthly Statistics) bulletin by the Planning and Statistics Authority said on Wednesday.

The highest number of visitors was from the Gulf Cooperation Council at 38 percent. As for visitors by type of port, the visitors via Air make up the highest percentage with 47 percent of the total number of visitors.
The total Broad Money Supply (M2) recorded about QR 705 Billion during March 2023, an annual increase of 11.3 percent compared with March 2022. On the other hand, cash equivalents; including Commercial Bank Deposits, attained for QR 967 Billion during March 2023. The figure has recorded an annual decrease of 0.02 percent compared to March 2022, when deposits recorded approximately QR 968 Billion.

Regarding to Vital Statistics, 2139 live births have been registered during March 2023. Also, a decrease in the total Qatari live births by 5.1 percent comparing to last month. On the other hand, 233 deaths were recorded during the same period, an increase of 9.4 percent compared to February 2023.

Moreover, March 2023 witnessed a monthly increase of 18.4 percent and 36.8 percent of total marriage contracts and total divorce certificates respectively compared to the previous month. The total number of marriage contracts reached 367 marriage contracts, while the total number of divorce certificates reached 145 cases.

As for the Social Security statements, reached QR 77 Million in March 2023, for 14323 beneficiaries, recording a monthly increase of 0.2 percent for the value of social security and a monthly increase of 0.6 percent for the number of beneficiaries of Social Security.

Regarding the data of buildings permits issued, the total number of permits has reached 666 permits during March 2023, recording a monthly increase of 3.4 percent and an annual decrease of 32.6 percent.
The total number of registered new vehicles during March 2023 has reached 7091 new vehicles. The figure showed a monthly increase of 21.0 percent and showed an annual decrease of 18.8 percent.
Traffic accidents cases without counting the accidents without injuries, a total of 806 traffic cases were recorded during March 2023, showing a monthly increase of 20.7 percent and an annual decrease by 0.5 percent. Light injuries are accounted for most traffic accidents cases during the same month, with 93 percent, followed by severe injuries by 5 percent. However, 17 deaths were recorded, equivalent to only 2 percent of total traffic accidents cases.

الدوحة: قفز إجمالي عدد الزوار الوافدين إلى قطر بنسبة 183.5 في المئة في مارس الماضي، إلى حوالي 433 ألف زائر، على أساس سنوي، قياسا مع الشهر ذاته من العام الماضي، فيما ارتفع بمعدل شهري قدره 11.3 بالمئة، مقارنة مع فبراير 2023.

وأفادت نشرة قطر “إحصاءات شهرية”، في عددها الجديد الصادر عن جهاز التخطيط والإحصاء، اليوم، أن أكثر عدد الزوار القادمين من دول مجلس التعاون بنسبة 38 بالمئة، أما فيما يخص الزوار حسب نوع المنفذ، فقد شكل الزوار عن طريق الجو النسبة الأعلى بـ 47 في المئة من إجمالي عدد الزوار.

ومن أبرز المتغيرات التي رصدتها النشرة خلال شهر مارس الماضي، ارتفاع قيمة عرض النقد الواسع (2) إلى حوالي 705 مليارات ريال، مسجلة بذلك ارتفاعا سنويا بلغت نسبته 11.3 في المئة، مقارنة بشهر مارس 2022، بينما بلغت قيمة شبه النقد الذي يشمل ودائع البنوك التجارية حوالي 967 مليار ريال خلال شهر مارس 2023، مسجلا بذلك انخفاضا سنويا بلغت نسبته 0.02 بالمئة، مقارنة بشهر مارس 2022، حيث كان إجمالي الودائع حينها حوالي 968 مليار ريال.

وفيما يخص الإحصاءات الحيوية، فقد بلغ إجمالي المواليد أحياء 2139 مولودا خلال شهر مارس 2023، وسجل إجمالي المواليد الأحياء القطريين انخفاضا بنسبة 5.1 في المئة عن الشهر الماضي، في حين بلغ إجمالي عدد الوفيات 233 حالة وفاة، مسجلة ارتفاعا بنسبة 9.4 في المئة عن شهر فبراير 2023.

وشهد شهر مارس 2023 ارتفاعا شهريا بنسبة 18.4 بالمئة، و36.8 بالمئة في إجمالي عقود الزواج وإجمالي إشهادات الطلاق على التوالي، حيث بلغ إجمالي عدد عقود الزواج 367 عقد زواج، في حين بلغ إجمالي عدد إشهادات الطلاق 145 حالة طلاق.

أما عن بيانات الضمان الاجتماعي فقد بلغت قيمتها 77 مليون ريال في مارس الماضي لعدد 14323 مستفيدا، مسجلا ارتفاعا شهريا قدره 0.2 بالمئة لقيمة الضمان الاجتماعي، كما شهد ارتفاعا شهريا بلغ 0.6 بالمئة لعدد المستفيدين من الضمان الاجتماعي.

وفيما يخص بيانات رخص البناء الصادرة، فقد بلغ إجمالي عددها 666 رخصة خلال شهر مارس 2023، مسجلة بذلك ارتفاعا شهريا بلغت نسبته 3.4 بالمئة، وانخفاضا سنويا قدره 32.6 بالمئة، بينما تراجعت إجمالي قيمة العقارات المباعة خلال شهر مارس 2023 بنسبة 39.4 في المئة قياسا بشهر فبراير 2023.

وفيما يتعلق بالمركبات الجديدة المسجلة، فقد أوضحت النشرة أن مجموع المركبات المسجلة خلال شهر مارس 2023 بلغ 7091 مركبة جديدة، مسجلة بذلك ارتفاعا شهريا بنسبة 21 بالمئة، وانخفاضا سنويا بنسبة قدرها 18.8 بالمئة.

وبالنسبة للبيانات المتعلقة بقضايا الحوادث المرورية دون احتساب الحوادث بلا إصابات، فقد بلغ إجمالي عددها 806 خلال شهر مارس الماضي، مسجلا بذلك ارتفاعا شهريا بنسبة 20.7 بالمئة، وانخفاضا سنويا قدره 0.5 بالمئة، وقد سجلت الإصابات الخفيفة الغالبية العظمى من قضايا الحوادث المرورية خلال الشهر نفسه بنسبة 93 في المئة، تليها الإصابات البليغة بنسبة 5 بالمئة، أما بالنسبة للوفيات فقد بلغت 17 حالة وفاة تعادل 2 بالمئة فقط من إجمالي قضايا الحوادث المرورية.
