QU to Celebrate Graduation Ceremony for 46th Batch

Doha: Qatar University (QU) will celebrate its Graduation Ceremony for the 46th cohort (Class of 2023) on Monday and Tuesday.
The total number of graduates this year is expected to be around 3,907 graduates, which includes 2602 Qataris (373 males and 2,229 females) and 1,305 residents and international students (390 males and 915 females). The number of distinguished graduates is 598 including 105 males and 493 females.
According to the schedule of the graduation ceremonies that will be held in the QU’s Sports and Events Complex, the main ceremony for male graduates will be on May 8, followed by the ceremony for distinguished female students on Tuesday, May 9 and the faculties’ ceremonies that will last until May 13.
Vice President for Student Affairs at QU, Dr. Eiman Mustafawi said in a press conference today that the graduation ceremony is considered the most important annual event organized by the QU, as it represents an occasion awaited by students and society in general, pointing out that the graduation ceremony will include holders of all academic degrees – Bachelor’s, Diploma, Master’s, Ph.D., Pharmacist), who have completed graduation requirements by the end of semesters (summer 2022, fall 2022 – winter 2023 – and those expected to graduate in spring 2023).
She added that the graduation of 3907 graduates reflects the QU’s commitment to boosting higher education, stressing that every graduate has a unique success story that represents the challenges they went through, and the achievements they achieved during their academic career, to become the forearms of this country, and contribute to its construction, development and prosperity.
She confirmed that the organizing committee of the graduation ceremony has completed all basic arrangements, noting that the graduates have been contacted and invitations have been sent to them and their families via e-mail.
Mustafawi also expressed her aspiration to present a distinguished edition of the graduation ceremony this year, and to provide an enjoyable and joyful experience for all, congratulating all graduates on their achievements and successes, calling on them to continue to develop their skills and abilities, achieve their goals, and contribute effectively to building society and the nation.

الدوحة: تحتفل جامعة قطر، يومي الاثنين والثلاثاء المقبلين، بتخريج الدفعة السادسة والأربعين من خريجيها (دفعة 2023) من حملة الدرجات العلمية (البكالوريوس، الدبلوم، الماجستير، الدكتوراه).
ويبلغ مجموع خريجي هذه الدفعة 3907 خريجين، منهم 2602 قطري (373 خريجا و2229 خريجة)، كما يبلغ عدد الخريجين المتفوقين في هذه الدفعة 598، منهم 105 بنين و493 بنات.
وحسب الجدول الزمني لحفلات التخرج التي ستقام في مجمع الرياضة والفعاليات بالجامعة، سيكون الحفل الرئيسي للبنين يوم 8 مايو، يتلوه في اليوم التالي حفل المتفوقات، ثم حفلات الكليات التي تستمر حتى 13 من الشهر ذاته.
وقالت الدكتورة إيمان مصطفوي نائب رئيس جامعة قطر لشؤون الطلاب، في مؤتمر صحفي اليوم: “إن حفل التخرج يعتبر أهم الفعاليات السنوية التي تنظمها جامعة قطر، فهو يمثل مناسبة ينتظرها الطلبة والمجتمع بشكل عام”، لافتة إلى أن حفل التخريج سيشمل حملة الدرجات العلمية (البكالوريوس، الدبلوم، الماجستير، الدكتوراه، الدكتور الصيدلاني)، ممن استكملوا متطلبات التخرج بنهاية الفصول الدراسية (صيف 2022، خريف 2022 – شتاء 2023 –، وكذلك المتوقع تخرجهم للفصل ربيع 2023).
وأوضحت أن تخريج 3907 طلاب وطالبات هذا العام يعكس التزام جامعة قطر بتعزيز التعليم العالي، مبينة الإيمان بأن لكل خريج وخريجة قصة نجاح فريدة تمثل التحديات التي مروا بها، والإنجازات التي حققوها خلال مسيرتهم الأكاديمية، ليصبحوا سواعد لهذا الوطن، ويساهموا في بنائه وتطوره وازدهاره.
وأكدت أن اللجنة المنظمة لحفل التخرج انتهت من كافة الترتيبات والتجهيزات الأساسية المتعلقة بإقامة حفل تخريج الدفعة 46 من طلاب جامعة قطر، مشيرة إلى أنه تم التواصل مع الخريجين، وإرسال دعوات الحضور لهم ولذويهم عبر البريد الإلكتروني.
كما أعربت نائب رئيس جامعة قطر لشؤون الطلاب عن تطلعها إلى تقديم نسخة مميزة من حفل التخرج هذا العام، وتوفير تجربة ممتعة ومليئة بالفرح والمتعة للجميع، موجهة التهنئة لجميع الخريجين على ما حققوه من إنجازات ونجاحات، تمثلت في عملهم وجدهم واجتهادهم للوصول إلى هذه المرحلة المهمة في حياتهم، داعية إياهم إلى الاستمرار في تطوير مهاراتهم وقدراتهم، وتحقيق أهدافهم، والمساهمة بشكل فاعل في بناء المجتمع والوطن.
