Qatar Participates in ATM 2023 in Dubai

Doha: The State of Qatar participates in the 30th edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), scheduled from May 1-5 at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Qatar Tourism represents the State of Qatar in the exhibition with a 603 sqm pavilion that will highlight a group of Qatar’s most prominent tourist attractions and its unique blend of modernity and cultural authenticity, along with a delegation of 43 tourism sector partners.

This participation follows the countrys remarkable success in hosting the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, where Qatar’s hospitality and tourism industry demonstrated its ability to deliver world-class events.
In a statement, Qatar Tourism said that Qatar Tourisms 603 sqm, double-decker pavilion will feature the destinations one-of-a-kind attractions and its unique blend of modernity and cultural authenticity. Qatar’s participation at ATM demonstrates the countrys ongoing commitment to position itself as a leading global destination for travel and leisure.

Chief Operating Officer at Qatar Tourism Berthold Trenkel said: “We are pleased to take part in the Arabian Travel Market and showcase Qatars incredible offering as a world-class tourism destination. In particular, this leading travel and tourism exhibition allows us to engage directly with core markets that we have identified as part of our 2030 strategy.” “We invite industry professionals to step into our exceptional pavilion and immersive themselves in the authentic culture and hospitality that Qatar is famed for. We look forward to highlighting the latest leisure developments taking place in Qatar and strengthening our partnerships with key travel and tourism stakeholders throughout the event,” he added.

Qatar Tourism’s pavilion at ATM will feature an array of unique attractions, including a Whale Shark activation, where visitors can view up-close the beauty of this endangered species. It will also include an augmented reality photobooth that will allow visitors to take pictures in iconic Qatari destinations. Additionally, there will be an immersive room that will play scenic destinations across Qatar, providing visitors with a 360-degree experience of the country’s attractions where visitors can explore and interact with Qatars unique tourism offerings in real-time, per their interests.

In addition to the pavilion’s attractions, Qatar Tourism will have a dedicated cultural area that depicts Souq Waqif, the countrys most popular traditional market, and serve Arabic coffee to guests. With the Expo 2023 Doha taking place later this year, Qatar Tourism will also shine a spotlight on this major upcoming event with an area at ATM dedicated to the Expo.

الدوحة: تشارك دولة قطر في النسخة الـ 30 من معرض سوق السفر العربي، والمقرر إقامته خلال الفترة من 1 إلى 4 مايو المقبل بمركز دبي التجاري العالمي.

يمثل دولة قطر في المعرض “قطر للسياحة” من خلال جناح على مساحة 603 أمتار مربعة، سيسلط الضوء على مجموعة من أبرز معالم الجذب السياحي في قطر، وكذلك المزيج الفريد الذي تمثله قطر الذي يجمع بين أصالة التراث الثقافي والحداثة، إلى جانب وفد يضم 43 شريكا من شركاء القطاع السياحي.

وتأتي هذه المشاركة في أعقاب النجاح الكبير الذي حققته قطر في استضافتها بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022، والتي أثبتت نجاح وقدرة قطاع الضيافة والسياحة في قطر على استيعاب أضخم الفعاليات والبطولات العالمية.

وفي بيان لها، قالت /قطر للسياحة/: إن جناحها المقام على طابقين بمساحة قدرها 603 أمتار مربعة سيسلط الضوء على مجموعة من أبرز معالم الجذب السياحي في قطر، وكذلك المزيج الفريد الذي تمثله قطر، والذي يجمع بين أصالة التراث الثقافي والحداثة، كما تأتي مشاركة قطر في معرض سوق السفر العربي في إطار التزامها الدائم بترسيخ مكانتها كوجهة رائدة في قطاعي السفر والترفيه بالمنطقة والعالم.

وقال السيد بيرثهولد ترينكل، الرئيس التنفيذي للعمليات في /قطر للسياحة/: إن المشاركة في سوق السفر العربي تمكننا من الترويج لعروض /قطر السياحية/ كوجهة عالمية المستوى، لا سيما أن هذا المعرض الرائد في صناعة السفر والسياحة يتيح لنا التعامل مباشرة مع الأسواق الرئيسية التي حددناها ضمن استراتيجيتنا لعام 2030.

وأضاف: “ندعو خبراء صناعة السياحة لزيارة جناحنا الرائع، والتعرف على أبرز معالم التراث الثقافي والضيافة القطرية الأصيلة”، مشيرا إلى تسليط الضوء على أحدث التطورات التي تشهدها قطر، فضلا عن تعزيز الشراكات مع شركائنا الرئيسيين في قطاع السفر والسياحة خلال المعرض.

وسيضم جناح /قطر للسياحة/ في سوق السفر العربي مجموعة من عناصر الجذب الفريدة، التي تشمل عرض مشاهد من تجمعات قرش الحوت، حيث يمكن للزوار مشاهدة جمال هذا النوع المهدد بالانقراض عن قرب، كما يضم الجناح أيضا كشكا للتصوير بتقنية الواقع المعزز، بما يسمح للزوار بالتقاط الصور في أشهر وجهات الجذب السياحي في قطر، بالإضافة إلى ذلك، سوف يتضمن الجناح غرفة متطورة توفر للزوار تجارب غامرة في معالم الجذب السياحي القطرية بزاوية 360 درجة، تتيح للزوار وفقا لاهتماماتهم استكشاف العروض السياحية الفريدة، التي تزخر بها قطر، والتفاعل معها في الوقت الفعلي.
