Doha: The State of Qatar participates in Hannover International Industrial Exhibition (Messe 2023), due to be held between April 17-21 in Hannover, Germany.

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) said, in a statement on Friday, that the State of Qatar’s pavilion features a number of government agencies and the private sector companies, including the MoCI, Qatar Investment Promotion Agency (IPA), Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZA), Qatar Science and Technology Park, Qatar Financial Center and Qatar Chamber, in addition to a number of private companies such as Doha Cables Company, Azm for Projects Development (plastic and glass), Innovation Company (3D printing in educational and industrial projects), Al Shabib Battery Factory, and Dala Holding Group.

The participating entities in Qatar pavilion are set to showcase the most prominent Qatari initiatives, projects, services and products, promising investment opportunities, incentives and privileges available to investors and businessmen to enter the country’s various investment sectors.

During the exhibition, the leading Qatari industries and the latest technologies and technological developments in the industrial sector in the country will be highlighted with the aim of exchanging expertise and experiences, opening the way for creating tangible partnerships between Qatari and international companies, and learning about the most prominent international experiences and the great technical development in the industrial sector.

Relatedly, the Qatari entities will discuss, during their participation in the exhibition, the advantages of the investment environment in the State of Qatar, and will also shed light on the laws and legislation that have been approved to stimulate domestic and foreign investment, including the law regulating the investment of non-Qatari capital in economic activity, and the law regulating partnership between the public and private sectors in addition to displaying the incentives and advantages offered to investors, including the exemption of invested foreign capital from income tax for a period of up to ten years for specific investment projects in many sectors, exemption from customs taxes and fees on importing equipment and raw materials, services that are provided to investors to facilitate procedures related to investment applications and establishing companies.

Hannover Messe is the world’s leading trade fair for industrial technology. It attracts some of the world’s major industrial and technology companies.

الدوحة: تشارك دولة قطر في معرض /هانوفر/ الصناعي الدولي 2023، الذي تنطلق فعالياته خلال الفترة من 17 أبريل الجاري، وتتواصل حتى 21 منه في مدينة /هانوفر/ الألمانية.

وقالت وزارة التجارة والصناعة، في بيان اليوم، إن جناح دولة قطر يضم عددا من الجهات الحكومية والقطاع الخاص، والتي تشمل وزارة التجارة والصناعة، ووكالة ترويج الاستثمار في قطر، وهيئة المناطق الحرة، وواحة قطر للعلوم والتكنولوجيا، ومركز قطر للمال، وغرفة قطر، بالإضافة إلى عدد من الشركات الخاصة كشركة الدوحة للكابلات، وعزم لتطوير المشاريع (بلاستيك وزجاج)، وشركة الابتكار (الطباعة ثلاثية الأبعاد في المشاريع التعليمية والصناعية)، ومصنع آل شبيب للبطاريات، ومجموعة دالة القابضة.

ومن المقرر أن تستعرض الجهات المشاركة ضمن جناح دولة قطر، أبرز المبادرات والمشاريع والخدمات والمنتجات القطرية، والفرص الاستثمارية الواعدة، والحوافز والامتيازات المتاحة للمستثمرين ورجال الأعمال للاستثمار في القطاعات المختلفة بالدولة.

كما سيتم، خلال المعرض، تسليط الضوء على الصناعات القطرية الرائدة، وأحدث التقنيات والتطورات التكنولوجية في القطاع الصناعي بالدولة؛ بهدف تبادل الخبرات والتجارب، وفتح المجال لخلق شراكات مميزة بين الشركات القطرية والشركات العالمية، وتعزيز التعاون بينها، والتعرف على أبرز التجارب العالمية والتطور التقني الكبير في القطاع الصناعي.

وفي سياق متصل، ستتناول الجهات القطرية، خلال مشاركتها في المعرض، مميزات البيئة الاستثمارية في دولة قطر، كما ستسلط الضوء على القوانين والتشريعات التي تم إقرارها لتحفيز الاستثمار المحلي والأجنبي، بما في ذلك قانون تنظيم استثمار رأس المال غير القطري في النشاط الاقتصادي، وقانون تنظيم الشراكة بين القطاعين الحكومي والخاص، إلى جانب استعراض الحوافز والمميزات التي تم تقديمها للمستثمرين، ومن بينها إعفاء رأس المال الأجنبي المستثمر من ضريبة الدخل لمدة تصل إلى عشر سنوات بالنسبة لمشاريع استثمارية محددة في العديد من القطاعات، علاوة على الإعفاء من الضرائب الجمركية والرسوم عند استيراد المعدات والمواد الخام، إضافة إلى عرض الخدمات التي يتم تقديمها للمستثمرين، بما يسهم في تيسير الإجراءات المتعلقة بطلبات الاستثمار، وتأسيس الشركات واستكمال المعاملات.

ويعد معرض /هانوفر/ الصناعي الدولي أكبر ملتقى صناعي على الصعيد العالمي، ويستقطب كبرى الشركات الإنتاجية في العالم، كما أنه المعرض التجاري الرائد في العالم للتكنولوجيا الصناعية.
