QSE Performance More Positive After Eid, Supported by Results of Listed Companies

Doha: Financial analyst Tamer Hassan expected that Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) performance would be more positive after the Eid holidays with the support of the results of the listed companies, which showed profits more than expected so far.
In his remarks to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Hassan said that around 40 percent of the listed companies would disclose their financial statements before Eid, and 60 percent would be right after Eid. He pointed out that all indications point to achieving better performance better than that achieved in the same period last year, which coincided with the boom of organizing the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
QSE index went down by 2.440 percent at the end of the current week, losing 252.420 points to reach 10,090 points compared to the last week, under pressure from the services and consumer goods sectors, banks, and financial services.
The financial analyst indicated that the results of the companies and the coherence of the economy do not reflect the market declines, especially since several external factors affecting the financial markets have been overcome, such as the banking crisis in the United States and some European countries, in addition to the trend toward stability in raising interest rates by the US Federal Reserve.
Tamer Hassan considered that in the meantime, what is assuring is that everyone is keeping their stocks and that the trading volumes are due to individual speculations.
The weekly report of QSE revealed a decrease in the market value at the end of the week’s trading, to reach QR 587.674 billion, compared to its level last week, which amounted to QR 601.473 billion, while the value of stock trading was about QR 1.904 billion through the sale of 688.351 million shares, as a result of the implementation of 68.842 deals across all sectors.

وقال حسن، في تصريحات لوكالة الأنباء القطرية /قنا/، إن نحو 40 بالمئة من الشركات المدرجة ستكشف عن بياناتها المالية قبل العيد، و60 بالمئة ستكون بعده مباشرة، مشيرا إلى أن كل الدلائل تشير إلى تحقيق أداء أفضل من الذي تحقق في نفس الفترة من العام الماضي، والذي تزامن مع طفرة تنظيم قطر لكأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022.
وشهد مؤشر بورصة قطر، خلال الأسبوع الجاري، تراجعا بنسبة 2.440 بالمئة، قياسا بنهاية تعاملات الأسبوع الماضي، ليفقد رصيده 252.420 نقطة، وينزل إلى مستوى 10090 نقطة، بضغط من قطاعي الخدمات والبضائع الاستهلاكية والبنوك والخدمات المالية.
وأوضح المحلل المالي، لـ/قنا/، أن نتائج الشركات وصلابة الاقتصاد لا تعكس بالمرة التراجعات الحاصلة في السوق، خاصة أنه تم تجاوز عددا من العوامل الخارجية المؤثرة في أسواق المال، على غرار أزمة المصارف في الولايات المتحدة وفي بعض الدول الأوروبية، بالإضافة إلى التوجه نحو الاستقرار في رفع نسب الفائدة من قبل الفيدرالي الأمريكي.
واعتبر تامر حسن أن المطمئن في بورصة قطر في الوقت الحالي أن الجميع محتفظ بأسهمه، وأن أحجام التداولات ناتجة عن مضاربات فردية.
وكشف التقرير الأسبوعي لبورصة قطر عن تراجع في القيمة السوقية بنهاية تعاملات الأسبوع إلى 587.674 مليار ريال، مقارنة بمستواها في الأسبوع الماضي الذي بلغ 601.473 مليار ريال، فيما سجلت قيمة تداولات الأسهم نحو 1.904 مليار ريال، من خلال بيع 688.351 مليون سهم، نتيجة تنفيذ 68.842 صفقة في جميع القطاعات.
