Qatar Philharmonic to Present “The Best of Brass” Concert on Monday

Doha: The Qatar Philharmonic will present on Monday a high-energy Best of Brass concert at the stage of pre-university education in Education City.
The concert combines traditional classics with contemporary songs, to create an exciting musical experience for all attendees led by the famous conductor Bob Ross.
The Philharmonic has prepared a special program through a group of instrumentals, such as “Angels” for Robbie Williams and the Pink Panther Theme for Henry Mancini, in addition to playing some of the traditional music such as Marching the Blues for Brass and “Skirl” for Brass.
The highlight of the concert will be a performance of Richard Strauss’s “Also Sprach Zarathustra”, one of the most famous and challenging pieces for brass instruments.
It is worth noting that the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra performs and promotes western and Arabic music to inspire the children and adults of Qatar and the Arab world to create and enjoy music. It has won international acclaim for its exceptional performance and commitment to promoting musical excellence.
The Philharmonic was established in 2007 as a center affiliated with the Qatar Foundation through the mixing of cultures, seeks to send a message of peace to the world.

الدوحة: تقدم أوركسترا قطر الفلهارمونية، يوم الاثنين المقبل، حفل “روائع آلات النفخ النحاسية” على مسرح التعليم ما قبل الجامعي بالمدينة التعليمية.
ويجمع الحفل بين الكلاسيكيات التقليدية والأغاني المعاصرة، لخلق تجربة موسيقية مثيرة لجميع الحاضرين بقيادة قائد الأوركسترا الشهير بوب روس.
وقد أعدت الأوركسترا برنامجا مميزا من خلال مجموعة من المعزوفات، مثل: “أنجلز” لروبي ويليامز، و”شاكون” لهاندل، و”بينك بانثر” لمانشيني، بالإضافة إلى عزف بعض من الموسيقى التقليدية مثل: “مارش البلوز، وسكيرل، وفانفار بآلات النفخ النحاسية” وغيرها.
وسيكون أبرز ما في الحفل أداء لشتراوس “هكذا تكلم زرادتش”، وهي واحدة من أكثر القطع شهرة وتحديا في الآت النفخ النحاسية.
تجدر الإشارة إلى أن أوركسترا قطر الفلهارمونية تشجع وتؤدي الموسيقى الغربية والعربية على حد سواء؛ من أجل إلهام الأطفال والكبار من قطر والعالم العربي لتأليف الموسيقى والاستمتاع بها، وقد حازت على شهرة دولية لأدائها الاستثنائي، والتزامها بتعزيز التميز الموسيقي.
وتسعى الأوركسترا، التي تأسست عام 2007 كمركز تابع لمؤسسة قطر للتربية والعلوم وتنمية المجتمع من خلال تمازج الثقافات، لتوجه رسالة سلام إلى العالم.
