[13, March 2023] – Doha, Qatar: Deliveroo Qatar has joined hands with certified positive discipline educator and founder of The Family Hub platform, Hanan Ezzeldin, to launch an exclusive ‘Kindness Calendar’ to promote the values of kindness and compassion. The calendar offers a daily program which is not just a fun activity for families, but also a guide to teaching children the 5 pillars of kindness that are at the heart of the season. The 30-day calendar contains 50 unique cards that suggest various acts of kindness, and features a pocket for every day of the month, encouraging children to perform good deeds on a daily basis. The cards align with the 5 pillars of kindness, including showing kindness to self, family, to friends, to their school as well as to the wider community and provide children with simple tasks to complete on a regular basis. The tasks range from sharing toys, watering a plant, completing a chore, writing a thank-you note to delivery riders, to occasionally allowing children to select a selfless act of kindness. This calendar aims to educate and foster good habits in children from an early age. Available in both English and Arabic, the daily tasks have been designed to encourage children to continue practicing acts of kindness throughout the year. The calendar also presents an opportunity for parents and their children to engage in meaningful conversations about the true spirit of giving.
