Doha: Qatar Airways and Qatar Tourism have revealed a new line-up of events as part of ‘Feel Winter in Qatar’ campaign. through which it presents a season full of events, shows and exhibitions that suit the tastes of all family members and covers all parts of the country. Qatar Shopping Festival

Qatar Shopping Festival, the largest shopping festival in Qatar, as it returns this month, with 10 modern shopping malls including Place Vendome and Lagoona Mall participating throughout the month-long festival.
Distinctive events are organized during this month, including beauty and makeup lessons offered by the Sephora Center in Place Vendome, which are available to all. The center also offers a “special day for ladies” every Wednesday that includes private lessons in beauty and makeup, and special gifts.

On Saturday, March 4, the Sephora Center designated a “special day for men.” On Tuesday, March 14, the festival will witness a large fashion show featuring the best international designers, at “Harvey Nichols” in Doha Festival City. Besides, there will be amazing shows for visitors and mobile concerts and singing among the participating malls during the month-long shopping festival. Wonderful acrobatic shows will also be presented, in addition to children’s plays on a trip to the enchanted forest.

Shoppers can also participate in a range of competitions and promotions, such as the Shop and Sweep event, which is offered across Virgin Megastore branches across Qatar. Shoppers who spend QR 200 at any of the outlets participating in the festival will be able to enter a large draw to win a cash prize of QR 2 million. This year’s grand prize – the largest in the history of the Qatar Shopping Festival – offers shoppers the chance to win a brand new one-room apartment in Lusail City.

Qatar Shopping Festival activities also include the Paw Patrol Festival, which takes place at Place Vendome from March 2 to 18. Paw Patrol festival goers, which will be presented through a fully immersive experience, will enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere where they will have the opportunity to meet the famous characters of the Paw Patrol team, take pictures with them, and much more.

Qatar Live

After its successful performances, including the Disney Princesses Concert and the John Legend Concert, Qatar Live Festival presents a group of the brightest artists and singers who participate in concerts and live performances all over the country, which include: February 24th: The famous Egyptian singer “Angham” performs a collection of her most famous songs during Katara International Arabian Horse Festival.

March 2: The famous Syrian singer Asala Nasri will perform a bunch of her famous songs in front of the audience at Al Shaqab in March.

March 3: The audience of the famous Kuwaiti singer “Nawal Al-Kuwaiti” will also be on a date with a variety of her songs that she will perform at Al Shaqab.

In addition to its program full of wonderful performances, the international circus “Circus 1903” will return to Doha as part of the “Qatar Live” festival, from March 10-18. The award-winning team that contributed to the production of the famous movie “War Horse” will participate in presenting its segments and performances.

مهرجان قطر للتسوق

يعود مهرجان قطر للتسوق، وهو أكبر مهرجان للتسوق في قطر، هذا الشهر حيث يشارك فيه 10 مراكز من مراكز التسوق العصرية بما في ذلك بلاس فاندوم، ولاجونا مول طيلة فترة المهرجان على مدى شهر كامل. وتنظم فعاليات مميزة خلال هذا الشهر، نذكر منها دروس التجميل والمكياج التي يقدمها مركز سيفورا في بلاس فاندوم والمتاحة للجميع، كما يقدم المركز كل يوم أربعاء “يوماً خاصاً للسيدات” يتضمن دروس خاصة في التجميل والمكياج، وهدايا مميزة.

كما خصص مركز سيفورا يوم السبت 4 مارس “يوماً خاصاً للرجال”. ومن المقرر أن يشهد المهرجان يوم الثلاثاء 14 مارس، عرضاً كبيراً للأزياء يضم أفضل المصممين العالميين وذلك في “هارفي نيكولز” في دوحة فستيفال سيتي. إلى جانب ذلك، سيتم تقديم عروض مذهلة للزوار وحفلات موسيقية وغنائية متنقلة بين مراكز التسوق المشاركة خلال مهرجان التسوق الذي يستمر لمدة شهر. كما سيتم تقديم فقرات رائعة من العروض البهلوانية، إضافة إلى مسرحيات للأطفال في رحلة إلى الغابات المسحورة.

بعد عروضه الناجحة منها حفل أميرات ديزني وحفل جون ليجند، يقدم مهرجان “قطر لايف” مجموعة من ألمع الفنانين والمطربين الذين يشاركون بحفلات وعروض حية في جميع أنحاء البلاد والتي تشمل: أنغام 24 فبراير: تقدم المطربة المصرية الشهيرة “أنغام” باقة من أشهر أغانيها خلال مهرجان كتارا الدولي للخيل العربية. أصالة نصري 2 مارس: وتؤدي المطربة السورية الشهيرة أصالة نصري، باقة من أغانيها الشهيرة أمام الجمهور في الشقب في شهر مارس. نوال الكويتية 3 مارس: كما سيكون جمهور المطربة الكويتية الشهيرة “نوال الكويتية” على موعد مع باقة متنوعة من أغانيها التي ستقدمها في الشقب.
