Private Education Affairs Sector Launches “Be Cautious” Initiative

Doha: The Private Education Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education called on all parents to take precaution when dealing with unlicensed home nurseries, as it’s dangerous for security of their children. In this regard, the ministry launched an initiative under the theme “Be Cautious”, aiming to eradicate the phenomenon of nurseries that are not licensed by the Ministry, and subject them to legal accountability, in a way that guarantees the safety and security of children.
Director of the Nurseries Department, Dr. Rania Mohamed emphasized the importance of parents to register their children in the nurseries that have official license from the ministry, and the importance to report any unlicensed nursery by checking the ministry’s official website.
The nursery stage is important in building and forming the child’s personality especially in his/her educational life, and effectively prepares the child to join kindergarten as it’s the first experience for the children on school seats.

الدوحة: دعا قطاع شؤون التعليم الخاص بوزارة التربية والتعليم والتعليم العالي جميع الأهالي وأولياء الأمور إلى ضرورة الحيطة والحذر من التعامل مع الحضانات المنزلية غير المرخصة، لخطورتها على أمن وسلامة أطفالهم، وأطلق في هذا الصدد مبادرة “كن يقظا”، بهدف القضاء على ظاهرة هذه الحضانات من قبل الوزارة، وإخضاعها للمساءلة القانونية، بما يضمن أمن أطفال دولة قطر وسلامتهم.
وأكدت الدكتورة رانيه محمد مديرة إدارة دور الحضانة بقطاع التعليم الخاص، ضرورة تسجيل الأهالي وأولياء الأمور لأطفالهم في دور الحضانة التي لديها رخصة رسمية من وزارة التربية والتعليم والتعليم العالي، وأهمية الإبلاغ عن أي حضانة غير مرخصة عبر الموقع الرسمي للوزارة.
يذكر أن مرحلة الحضانة تعتبر حجر الزاوية في بناء وتكوين شخصية الطفل خاصة في حياته التعليمية، وتهيئه فعليا للالتحاق بمرحلة رياض الأطفال؛ كونها تعد التجربة الأولى للأطفال على مقاعد الدراسة.
وتسهم هذه المرحلة المخصصة لرعاية الأطفال ممن لا تزيد أعمارهم على أربع سنوات، في إكساب الطفل المهارات اللازمة وتعده تربويا واجتماعيا ونفسيا ومعرفيا وتغرس فيه جملة من القيم الأصيلة، ما يعوده على التكيف مع الأجواء والبيئات المختلفة، والشعور بالراحة والتركيز والاستعداد للتعلم بشكل أفضل.
