Public demands to fence buildings under construction To protect children in particular

Doha: Citizens demanded the Ministry of Municipality for tighter control over concrete buildings still under construction, and to oblige contracting companies carrying out construction work and final finishes to install fences in order to prevent people from entering them, especially children.

Citizens emphasized that these buildings remain unfinished for long periods of time for reasons related to the owner or other circumstances. The owner and the contracting company must close the doors to preserve the general appearance, and so the consctrunting site won’t become a shelter for stray dogs and cats as well.

الدوحة: طالبَ مُواطنونَ وزارة البلدية بضرورة تشديد الرّقابة على المباني الخرسانيّة التي لا تزالُ قيدَ الإنشاء، وإلزام شركات المقاولات التي تقومُ بأعمال البناء والتشطيبات النهائيّة فيها بضرورة وضع سياج أو سور بهدف منع دخول الأشخاص فيها، وخاصة الأطفال.

وأكّد المواطنون أنَّ تلك المباني تبقَى فترات زمنيّة طويلة على حالها لأسباب تتعلّق بالمالك أو لظروف أخرى، لكن لا بدّ من قيام شركة المقاولات المسؤولة عن العمليات الإنشائيّة للمبنى أو المالك، بإغلاق الأبواب للحفاظ على المظهر العام، وتفاديًا لتحوّلها إلى مأوى للكلاب الضالّة والقطط.
