Doha: HE Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to the State of Qatar Dr. Mustafa Boutoura said that this year’s National Day celebrations are special and outstanding as they coincide with the country’s hosting of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the world’s major international sporting event.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), His Excellency extended congratulations to HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and the government and people of the State of Qatar on this happy occasion, adding that Algeria, through these celebrations and associated events and activities, shares the brotherly Qatari people their most beautiful joys and pride amid their huge internal and external achievements.
His Excellency also noted the great success that distinguished the World Cup opening ceremony that grabbed the attention of the whole world and large-scale acclaim over its widely acknowledged dazzling organization and smooth movement inside and outside stadiums and arenas and squares that hosted the World Cup-associated various cultural and artistic events.
His Excellency pointed out that the National Day celebrations for this year were marked by the return of the Darb Al Saai activities, where these wonderful events, represented by a group of cultural and heritage activities that exceeded 190 main events and 4,500 activities, contributed to highlighting Qatari culture and its authentic heritage to visitors and World Cup fans from worldwide. They also presented bright picture of the sisterly State of Qatar’s potentials to produce an elegant model that blends tradition and modernity, and embodies the meanings of pride and adherence to the national identity, the country’s heritage, and the legacy of the ancestors, His Excellency added.
His Excellency added that all those who experienced and monitored the course of the tournament will find that this success and impressive historical achievement culminated the country’s 12-year tremendous efforts and hard work despite all the challenges and hardships it confronted and all the desperate disinformation and distortion campaigns fueled by circles known special agendas and interests. Qatars practical and civilized response silenced those schemes, His Excellency said, highlighting the acclaim of fans of all nationalities for the hospitality, welcome and generosity they received from Qatari people and unique multi-field performance.
His Excellency also stressed that this impressive success gave the world an unprecedented civilized image in the World Cup tournaments, concluding that history will definitely record the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 as a milestone in the history of the most popular game in the world and a source of pride for every Arab and Muslim.

الدوحة: قال سعادة الدكتور مصطفى بوطورة سفير الجمهورية الجزائرية الديمقراطية الشعبية الشقيقة لدى الدولة، إن احتفالات اليوم الوطني للدولة لهذا العام تكتسي طابعا خاصا ومميزا؛ لتزامنها مع استضافة الحدث الرياضي العالمي الكبير بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022.
وهنأ سعادته، في تصريح لوكالة الأنباء القطرية /قنا/، حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، ودولة قطر حكومة وشعبا بهذه المناسبة السعيدة، وقال “نشارك من خلال هذه المناسبة والاحتفالات والفعاليات المصاحبة لها الشعب القطري الشقيق أجمل الأفراح والفخر والاعتزاز، في ظل إنجازات كبيرة على الصعيدين الداخلي والخارجي”.
كما نوه سعادته بالنجاح الباهر الذي ميز حفل افتتاح المونديال، حيث جذب هذا الافتتاح أنظار العالم، مشيرا إلى أن قطر واصلت حصد النجاحات والإشادات والإبهار خلال منافسات البطولة عبر التنظيم الرائع، والتسيير المثالي، والتحكم المتقن على جميع الأصعدة والمستويات، داخل الملاعب وخارجها، وفي الأماكن والساحات التي احتضنت الفعاليات الثقافية والفنية المتنوعة بشهادة الجميع.
ولفت إلى أن احتفالات اليوم الوطني هذا العام تميزت بعودة فعاليات /درب الساعي/، التي تسهم في إبراز الثقافة القطرية وتراثها الأصيل لزوار قطر وجماهير المونديال من شتى أصقاع العالم، ورسم صورة مشرقة لقدرة الدولة العربية الشقيقة على تقديم نموذج راق يمزج بين الأصالة والمعاصرة، ويجسد معاني الاعتزاز والتمسك بالهوية الوطنية وتراث الدولة وإرث الأجداد.
وتابع سعادته قائلا: “كل من عايش أو تابع مجريات البطولة يدرك أن هناك جهودا جبارة بُذلت طيلة 12 عاما للوصول إلى تحقيق هذا الإنجاز التاريخي المبهر رغم كل التحديات والصعاب التي واجهتها، ورغم كل محاولات التشويش اليائسة، وحملات التضليل المغرضة والتشويه والتشكيك المستهجنة؛ للتأثير على استضافة هذا الحدث الرياضي العالمي الكبير، وذلك من خلال بعض الدوائر المعروفة بحساباتها وأجنداتها الخاصة، إلا أن رد قطر كان بشكل عملي وأسلوب حضاري أخرس الكثير”.
ولفت سعادة السفير الجزائري لدى الدولة إلى إشادات المشجعين من كل الجنسيات بالحفاوة والترحاب والكرم الذي لقوه من شعب قطر الأصيل والمضياف، والتميز والتفرد في الأداء الرائع على كل المستويات، مؤكدا أن هذا النجاح الباهر أعطى للعالم صورة حضارية غير مسبوقة في بطولات كأس العالم.
واختتم سعادته، تصريحه لـ /قنا/، بالقول: “كلي يقين أن التاريخ سيسجل بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022 علامةً فارقة في تاريخ اللعبة الأكثر شعبية في العالم، حيث ستبقى محل اعتزاز وافتخار لكل عربي ومسلم، وبصمة مضيئة في سجل كرة القدم على مستوى العالم كله”.
